DELICIOUS! This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Hillel building at Rutgers. I ordered kosher brown sugar boba tea which was perfectly sweet, a greek salad that was fresh and flavorful with the perfect ratio of lettuce to toppings, squash soup that came with croutons, and a chocolate chip cookie that was crunchy and fresh out of the oven with chocolate that melted in my mouth. Service is excellent- my food was served in less than 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and it was a very relaxed and calming atmosphere- great for studying or eating with friends. Pretty affordable for a college student too! It’s right by the Yard, and very accessible so I highly recommend you check it out!

This location is under a new name and new ownership so the old reviews no longer apply:) but this place was awesome! I went there on opening day so there were limited options but what I tried was amazing! The cheese danish was so flakey and cheese tasted real and fresh. Best cheese danish I’ve had in a long time! The boba was great (finally Kosher Boba!). Everything is baked fresh and looked amazing!! Prices are excellent. The actual sitting area is huge and so clean. Was a really great experience!

Personal pizzas are great. The salmon burger is outstanding. Also had the Beyond Burger with family. Get it made up with the chefs personal recommendations. It’s truly outstanding. Food is it a totally new level with the New Management.

AMAZING FOOD! The Salmon burger is the best I have ever had…The beyond burger with cheese, the mushroom melty panini… All have been fabulous! The pizza is also great. Make the trip for this great kosher dairy food! They cater, too!

As a vegetarian who eats dairy, everything on this menu looked good to me, and everything I tried was delicious! The falafel and hummus are outstanding, the beyond burger is great. The pizza, the mac n cheese, the caprese sandwich? Yum, yum and yum, and omg, the cobbler! All in a clean, cozy comfy setting just inside Rutgers Hillel. Definitely plan to be back here often.

We really enjoyed lunch at College Ave Cafe. Great service, yummy food, nice casual atmosphere. Would definitely like to come back and taste more of their menu. 2 things to keep in mind: 1. Parking can be difficult in the area as it is in the heart of campus. 2. Note their hours, they close on the earlier side.

Everything about this place just screams 5 stars!!! Let me tell you about the sandwich that I just recently consumed…it puts the CRUNCH in Crunch Cafe!!!! The cookies are beyond delicious and the size of my face (not kidding), so perfect to split with friends or to eat by yourself (like me!)! Now let’s talk about that KOSHER boba!!! Are you for real?!?! I can’t even tell you how many years I spent waiting for kosher boba (hint: all my life)! Anyway I’m gonna have to stop writing now because there’s a croissant that’s very much calling my name, so you should probably come eat here before I finish it all:)
