We enjoyed eating breakfast this morning. The restaurant was clean and bright. They have a small gift section stocked with quality picks. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared well. I only rated the food a 4 because the coffee was very weak. It may have only been a glitch, a one time thing; however, when we left we stopped at a nearby fast food for better coffee. I’m sure we will go to a Richard’s Restaurant again, for the food and pleasant atmosphere…. Maybe not for the coffee.

Outstanding! Our party enjoyed delicious appetizers that were large enough to share. We thoroughly enjoyed the Branzino, Short Ribs, and Pork Shank entrées which were all beautifully presented. The service by Adam was as perfect as the atmosphere in this tastefully renovated commuter train station. I look forward to returning in the future. When (not if!) you order a dessert, ask for extra spoons to share. We all just had to taste the brownie!

Cozy restaurant in a former train station that serves excellent food! Was impressed by the French Onion Soup made with Mushroom broth- appreciated the vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options throughout the menu. We were in town for the weekend and dined here two night in a row and were not disappointed. Am also in love with their house vinaigrette and salad- worth adding this on to your meal. Thanks all for making our visit to Jacksonville delicious.

Wow. A tad expensive but absolutely wonderful food, service and atmosphere. A tran even passed through. I highley recommend the Paddy Melt. Best I have ever tasted. This chef in Central Illinois. They somehow made pea soup the star of the show. Our first time but not our last. What a great way to celebrate my 81st birthday. Highley recommended.

The service and atmosphere were excellent. Most of the food was also outstanding, but I’m rating the food at 4 stars because I had to send my steak back, because they won’t butterfly the filet to cook it. The taste of everything was superb. We got the filet, chicken and dumpling soup, Mediterranean sea bass, and panna cotta coffee. Definitely would recommend!
