Everything about this place is fabulous – the perfect date night spot & I love that it’s locally sourced, farm to table! Really wish I could try other things on the menu, but I can’t not order the filet! It is melt-in-your-mouth-like-butter tender, the smashed baked potatoes are drool worthy, & the lemon blueberry cake was, chefs kiss!

The restaurant is in an old train station by the railroad tracks. There’s some outside seating. They have a well stocked bar and have some fun drinks. The food was excellent and the service good. I would recommend it for a nice date or special occasion.

This is the best meal I’ve ever had in Central Illinois! Everything we ate, from the crab dip to the blackened catfish with polenta to the short rib pappardelle to the chocolate cheesecake, was phenomenal! After living in Chicago, NY, and Houston, all of which are fantastic food cities, and being a foodie myself who loves cooking, this place can hold its own against almost anywhere.

Recently went with friends had a great drink at the bar. They change up the drink menu with new yummy things every few months. I loved the pork chop it was thick and cooked to perfection. My hubby loved his steak with smashed potatoes. If course we will be back. Great food staff and the vibe of the old train station.

Best Mac & Cheese we’ve ever had, and the best cheeseburger in town without a doubt. The fruity pebble dessert was not very good though.

So so glad we went there for a special dinner! The servicer was efficient, jet not too much. The apps were way better then we expected: Bruschetta was flavorful and tasty. And we took the L eft over honey butter home with us! Our main course of salmon and steak were superb. We’ll be back sooner rather than later. Bottles of wine was reasonable price.

Dinning areas are a little more spread out and less noisy then most restaurants.
Service was great.
To me food is worth a dedicated drive from ~3 hrs as restaurant as destination to work trip around.

We enjoyed eating breakfast this morning. The restaurant was clean and bright. They have a small gift section stocked with quality picks. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared well. I only rated the food a 4 because the coffee was very weak. It may have only been a glitch, a one time thing; however, when we left we stopped at a nearby fast food for better coffee. I’m sure we will go to a Richard’s Restaurant again, for the food and pleasant atmosphere…. Maybe not for the coffee.

So so SO good. We got the Nashville chicken strips and the 8oz filet with fried potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors were soooo good. Service was great, atmosphere was great will definitely be back!
