Great friendly staff willing to accommodate a large group outside with a service dog. Was there on a Friday evening..had a DJ around 6pm playing some good music at the outside bar..fun atmosphere! Food was pretty good. Wings and corn bread muffins are a must! Inexpensive drinks.

I had an anniversary party there this past April, and it took literally an hour pus for ANYONE in my party to get their food. About a month ago, I ordered Jumbo shrimp to go from this place, and received these 6 medium sized shrimp that you pay $7.99 a pound for. The only reason I didn’t take them back was because I had already left. I promised myself I would NEVER go back, because the service is HORRIBLE there. So last night I broke my promise. Only because my boat is docked there and I was really hungry. What a mistake! I ordered wings and fries, and 55 minutes later, here they come. I ordered ALL flats, and not only did I not get them that way, I didn’t receive ONE SINGLE FLAT. This place is going down hill so fast its not even funny. So do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.

Service was incredibly slow and the staff was unapologetic. All food seemed overcooked and flavorless… despite taking almost 45 minutes. Manager was very friendly but did not address service issues. For a period, the band was way too loud for the seating quarters. Also, the waiter added a 20% gratuity to a bill for 3 people (when the restaurant policy on the menu says party of 6). It wouldn’t have a problem if 1. The service deserved 20% 2. If he didn’t disappear to someone stick us with it. I didn’t blame him for the poor food delivery times but i felt that was rude and uncalled for.

I wanted to celebrate my son’s birthday. He loves seafood so I looked on line and saw that Proud Mary’s had a crab leg all you can eat special on Wednesday. My family and I got there at 6:00 and was advised that they were all sold out. The atmosphere, decor, view and music was very beautiful. The restaurant was not busy, we could not understand why they were out of crab legs. Our server was very nice and polite, however, it took 15 to 20 minutes to get a cocktail. The bartender was in the lounge listening to the band. The food was good, but it took over an hour for it to get to the table. The manager was very rude, unapproachable, and unaccommodating. When approached her about the time frame for the food and beverages, she was very argumentative and defensive. I will not be patronizing this establishment again. I

2pm Sunday. No wait. Had seen the mixed reviews, but took a chance on a location that promised waterfront views and was away from too many crowds. We couldn’t be more pleased. Family owned, the salmon BLT was excellent and I had my first experience of telling the waiter to slow down on the bottomless mimosas (not a bad thing!). Nothing fancy and priced accordingly. Sunday gospel music while sitting overlooking the river was very pleasant. Everyone seemed happy (staff and guests). Will be back to try the bar, events, and non-brunch meals.

All the other negative reviews are erroneous. This place is excellent. Our waitress, Yasmine, was amazing. Attentive, personable, and polite. The food was excellent. Simple, but extremely well proportioned and seasoned. I did not get the captains seafood platter fried, and the grilled was extremely tasty (always a risky move). My better half, ordered the fried chicken and it was also excellent. You won’t be disappointed.

Honestly, the first time I went, it was q great experience. I shared it with friends and family. But each time after, it went down hill. I love the live band on 1st Fridays, but the food and service isn’t up to par. We will continue to come on 1st Fridays but will recommend you eat before you arrive. We also made reservations but it wasn’t honored once we arrived. So what’s the point of offering the service if you are not going to follow through with it? This place has great potential but staff and management really need a course in hospitality.

I have been to this place so many times but after going this past weekend for my birthday celebration dinner I am very hesitant to go back (that is if I go back). The service was worse than horrible. The waitress needed much more training before she was given a party larger than 3 people. But the management wasn’t much better. I suppose I should be happy that a couple of people in my party was compensated by their lack of, but it was still just not enough to satisfy me. I’m not ungrateful by no means but just wasn’t enough patience and staying humble to help this evening. There was a lack of food, extremely slow service, and so many excuses for why this is not available or that is not available. But the worse part of it all was the infestation of flying bugs…gnats and flies. We couldn’t even enjoy our meal without swatting at something flying near or on our food. It was a very disturbing birthday dinner to say the least. With all the problems we encountered, the place should have been closed until they could restock they food and exterminate the entire facility. There were less flying things in the bathroom and parking than there was on the inside of this establishment.
