This place has great food and shakes but needs better management and oversight. It’s wonderful to see so many young people employed but expecting them to manage so many different forms of ordering without any obvious management hierarchy is just hard to watch. Ordered a “Rio” bowl. Paid and tipped. 12-15 minutes later I approached the counter and was greeted with “how can we help you” I let them know I never got my bowl. They had to ask what I ordered which was a bit confusing because I was one of only three customers. Food was great service was terrible considering the employees outnumbered customers 2 to 1 the time I spent here.

I really love Protein Foundry, but the inconsistencies are extremely frustrating. When ordering for delivery the prices are significantly higher which I understand and I’m willing to pay for the convenience. However, when I order a 24oz bowl and a 32oz bowl, I’d expect to receive 8oz more acai in the larger size for the additional $4+ that I am paying. I received these two bowls today and the 32oz container is filled with the same amount as the 24oz. I am paying the same price every time I order I would expect to receive a full container every single time.

We ordered online for pickup and when we arrived the employees couldn’t find our order. They finally found our order thankfully, but then it took them over 30 mins to make 1 smoothie and 1 acai bowl. All the while a teenager sat on the counter laughing and chatting not helping the rest of the crew make orders. We’ve come here for years and the service continues to get worse. Your products are great, but honestly if you’re going to charge $10 for a smoothie you need to treat customers respectfully. If a team member would have apologized for losing our order and offered us a discount or a future free smoothie that would have been more than enough to make things right!

Delicious! I had the chocovado and had them blend peanut butter into the base along with adding it to the top. Love that it has avocado blended in also! Kind of loud with the blender always going, so not a place you can really study. Also, I’ve been there a few times and none of the employees ever smile or have a warm greeting. It is, however, very clean.

I love coming to the protein foundry! The service is quick and the food is amazing! I love the Wasatch back toast, the snickerdoodle shake, and my favorite bowl is the Rio. I have them blend peanut butter into my Açaí bowl and it is incredible. Try it next time you go!

Just came in and tried calling. I usually come in after my workout. After waiting 15 minutes the shake came out watery. I let the staff know and they tried to fix it but doesn’t taste how it normally does. I had to leave instead of waiting another 15. I would love a call from a manager.

I ordered the Chocovado açaí bowl. It was good, I liked the toppings on it. I’ve definitely had better açaí though. It wasn’t very creamy like I expected and was more icy. There were two teenage boys at the counter when I went, neither very friendly and wouldn’t even look up to acknowledge me. They were also playing rap music on full blast so you couldn’t really hold a conversation in there. It was a pretty subpar experience, not sure how other locations are but I probably wouldn’t return to this one.

I love this place but there really needs to be a manager on duty keeping people doing their job. All the highscoolers are just sitting in the back on their phones, 2 are actually working. Took 20 minutes to get my one bowl, and there was one other order before mine (of the same thing)
