With all the great reviews, i have been wanting to try this cafe for sometime now. We finally had a chance. I love the modern/contemporary theme, it’s clean and sleek. There are many food and bakery options. I was hoping for a a few more coffee syrup options, but I went wth my go to a caramel latte and hubby had the same. We chose to eat in. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We received our food items well before our coffee which was a bit odd. The server asked if there was anything else and we told her our coffee. They came out quickly after that. The flavor was amazing. As far as the taste, one of the best roasts I’ve had. The baked blueberry oatmeal with steamed milk was amazing and hubby enjoyed his sandwich but did say the egg was cool, so I am only speculating they heat it up as you order. Location is perfect. Parking on street or as we did in the garage just a block away. There are many places to walk to as well as the Central Market. Definitely a place to try and we will be back.

There was really nothing special about this location, the service was terrible. I literally waited until after my food to get my drink the waitress claimed the cashier was suppose to make my drink and just didn’t so threw her under the bus (unprofessional) I also witnessed one of the workers silence a patrons phone because he must’ve went to the rest room and it was going off and she must’ve been tired of hearing it( very rude) the location in Lancaster is way better friendlier service and the food tasted better. Also at the york location there is a large presence of homelessness drifting in and out of the shop.

Very spacious cafe in a convenient location. The food is on the pricier side, but it’s really good! And the coffee is too. There are a lot of vegetarian and even some vegan options. The staff is super friendly too. I’ll be back!

I come here a lot since it is downtown and in the square. It’s usually always fairly busy, and it’s one of the few coffee shops around here with decent hours, especially because I get coffee in the evening frequently! The atmosphere is really pleasant, and the coffee is always wonderful. If you are staying in studying or hanging out for awhile they have some drinks that are ‘free flow’ meaning you pay a flat price for the cup and get refills (I think it’s tea, coffee, cold brew, and strawberry lemonade). They have good vegan/vegetarian options. Their service is always wonderful, both takeout and eating in!

Hadn’t been on my radar, but their coffee was excellent, the best I’ve had in York.

The staff is welcoming and patient, the menu has options for everyone, and the environment is soothing like a hug. We went on an overcast day, and the cafe felt like a ray of sunshine.

Beautiful spacious place with a lot of light from large windows. I came to grab a warm drink and have a sweet bite. Ended up ordering a tea pot and a cookie, paid around 6.50usd. I loved the interior design of the place – the combination of blue, white, and green colors is very cozy and romantic. The service is fast and polite. The tea – peppermint- was very tasty. Can definitely recommend this place.

Staff was nice and welcoming. The location is nice but not easy to get to unless you’re already downtown. There’s a public piano right outside. The coffee was good and had nice flavor.

We’ve been to Prince Street Cafe many times, and the majority of the time nothing disappoints. Food is good, not the best I’ve had, but good nonetheless. However, there were two times we visited I felt like the service was slightly lacking. We went Sunday 7/16, and the food and drinks were great. However, what I found strange was the fact that our drinks took longer to come out than the food. We then went again Thursday 7/20, and I ordered a chai latte and a breakfast burrito. The chai latte was fine, but upon receiving my breakfast burrito, I discovered they had gotten my order incorrect. At the time, I had an appointment, so we left immediately after receiving our to-go order. As we drove away and I opened my box, the order had tomato, feta, pickled onion, etc. instead of sausage, bean spread, etc. Turns out they gave me the Cali egg wrap instead of the breakfast burrito, even though the bag given to me had my order number on it. The wrap wasn’t even well made- the tomato and feta stole the spotlight of the dish. I may come back again, but to order drinks, lunch, or dessert.
