Welcome to the Press Room, a relaxed, rustic, warm cafe in a historic 1914 building. Superb coffee drinks, famous bagel sandwiches (and an amazingly delicious low-carb option), handmade all-butter shortbread cookies, & pastries crafted by local bakers. Artisan teas, Press Room’s own masala chai mix, iced refreshers and more. Explore our tiny bookstore packed with books on local history, the Oregon Trail, and works by local authors. The comfortable light-filled back room has plenty of space for gatherings and studying with our fast wi-fi. The elegant Grande Hall has comfortable couches and tables for relaxed gatherings. Blue Mountain Trail through-hikers: enjoy free – a drink and bagel sandwich when you sign our hiker’s logbook.

This place is absolutely magical. One of those coffee shops that instantly makes you slow down and just feel the atmosphere. The interior is incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed — warm lighting, beautiful details, comfortable seating, and a calm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay much longer than planned.
Everything feels intentional and soulful, not generic at all. You can tell this space was created with love. The coffee was excellent, paired perfectly with fresh, delicious baked goods.
A special thank you to the young woman who made our coffee — she was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her energy made the experience even better and more personal.

They have an amazing inviting space, comfortable seating historical building and an awesome first nations library of books specifically on The Oregon Trail & my tribe….Nez Perce. Great people, super pastry & small bite offerings~Highly Recommend!☕️

An excellent place to enjoy coffee and conversation. In the winter time, the indoor area is warm and inviting. In the summertime, the outdoor tables, shaded by umbrellas, are an equally delightful place for gathering. The barista’s are friendly, and the service is excellent.

Fair coffee, espresso, and bagels. No awards. Think like Marriott or Cisco. The atmosphere is absolutely fabulous and truly worth a visit and hang. They have a lovely senior gathering space, but my kids loved it too. Really beautiful. Very comfortable and welcoming. Affordable.

Great atmosphere & staff! Friendly & welcoming. Love the swings. Such a playful idea. Only thing I would critique is the speed of service. It’s painfully slow. We waited 30+ minutes for 2 lattes & oatmeal.

Fun place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee! ☕️ Neat wooden swings to sit on up to a bar table looking out the window to the street! Also a fireplace, couches or tables and chairs for seating… I ordered a London Fog and it was delish ! Def will go back if I’m through the area again!
