The positive reviews are true! The food here is fresh fresh fresh. We were very pleased with this Prescotts and we have eaten at a lot of upscale places and at fancy restaurants in cruises.

I am grateful to have discovered this restaurant. The atmosphere is basic but the service and chef presentation delighted the tasting palette. Excellent beer and wine choices. The regular guest’s definitely know the experience. The chef is spot on for anyone who knows good food. I won’t elaborate because the educated staff will do it justice. Rochester’s best dining secret hidden in a strip mall! Great reviews!!!

Fantastic experience. The food is fresh, delicious, great presentation, and an overall good environment. The outside made me question going in initially, but I’m glad I ignored it. The prices were a little on the higher side, but the quality of food and drink outweighed that. I travel the country and am in a new city every week, what I paid here is exactly what I would have paid in a place like New York, and I can honestly say that the quality here was better than most $100 a plate places. I can definitely say the service was better, thank you Emily. You were very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. If I’m ever back in the area, I will be coming back here for sure.

Prescott’s was recommended to me by a friend and I took my friend here for her birthday dinner. The outside of the restaurant doesn’t look like much, but don’t let that fool you. The servers were the best I’ve ever had (Jessie!), I imagine this is what it would be like at a fine dining establishment in a large city. Our server was so professional and explained each dish with detail. We started with the flaky puff pastry camembert with lingonberry and baugette, perfect. We both had the fettuccine with sherry cream sauce, shallot, and stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms were huge, portion was big, flavor was out of this world. Even the side salad was incredible- dressed in layers, lots of crunchy bits and veggies, expertly done. They clearly have incredible chefs and owners. The server boxed our leftovers for us and each takeout bag had a farewell saying handwritten on it. My experience was so good I will absolutely recommended Prescott’s to everyone based on my one visit on a Thursday night.

Went here for our anniversary and everything went great. Wait staff was friendly and attentive, knowledgeable about the menu. They had locally sourced food and fun unique creations as well as classics. Both meals were tasty and portion size was just perfect. Good wine selection. Definitely get dessert!

One of the greatest meals I’ve had in Rochester – and I’ve lived here for 14 years! I hadn’t been here since I was a kid so I didn’t remember much, but the atmosphere was fun and food was delicious. First pic is crab stuffed chicken and second pic is creamy chicken with sun dried tomato, mushrooms and a basil pesto sauce (can’t remember the exact name). The staff was so friendly; the restaurant was almost empty when we were ordering dessert so a staff member gave us a “tour” of the dessert case, which made it even harder to choose! It was a little pricey for the Rochester scene but well worth it.

The outside/ location is misleading. It’s one of the better and nicer Rochester restaurants that’s not exorbitantly priced. Unique, seasonal, local menu. Soup, bread, and pasta was amazing. Olive assortment was surprisingly bitter and none of us cared to finish it, but maybe just personal preference.

The blackboard stated Wagyu Beef so I thought that I would try it out. Asked the waitress if the Wagyu beef was Japanese or American Wagyu. She said American. Thought that the fact that it is American is reflected in the pricing. Four of us at the table ordered the Wagyu beef because it was the special. I had the sausage soup starter and part of the bread basket. Bread was good. Soup had little bits of meat that was hard to find. Seemed like mostly vegetables. Tasted good so no complaints. When our main plates arrived, we were surprised to see the super lean meat presented to us. I ordered my steak with broccoli and mushrooms. The broccoli was overcooked and mushy. Mushrooms were cooked right but too heavy on the salt. The steak came out medium rare but tough as rubber. To compensate for the entree, I ordered rhubarb pie. That came out tasty. My friends enjoyed a bottle of house wine which turned out nice.

Intimate atmosphere. Knowledgeable wait staff with great descriptions and recommendations. The menu changes seasonally which I love. The chef is a master at his craft. They home grow produce for menu.

For starters I had the bead basket that contained 4 different kinds of delicious fresh baked bread. Then we had 2 different kinds of soup. Chef Rohe makes the best soup in town. It doesn’t matter which soup you pick as they are all great. For the entrees I had the grilled snapper with creole andouille sauce, my wife had her favorite the creamy chicken basil. Both entrees were outstanding. Chef Rohe is an expert with sauces that take the entrees to the next level. For dessert I went with the chocolate walnut ice cream and the Filipino ube yam cheesecake. The ice cream was delicious and consisted of 3 large scoops. The cheesecake is an excellent change of pace. (see photo). Prescotts is a locally owned and operated restaurant that uses fresh ingredients sourced from their own garden. We are happy to support this unique gem in Rochester.
