We’re Positano Ristorante, and we’ve been a restaurant in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, since 2020. We offer a wide selection of services, including online ordering and catering. With classic Italian dishes such as grilled calamari, Pappardelle al Nonno, Linguini Vongole, Vitello Limone, and Pollo Vesuvio, we take great pride in the food we prepare for our guests. Italian food is bold and satisfying; it’s rich and textural and uses a wide palette of flavors. Every Italian dish is built upon the most basic yet most flavorful of ingredients. I was really looking forward to this place. I wanted to try something different. Unfortunately, service by Kaylynn was not so great. I am not the kind of person that likes to make a complaint, but I mentioned to her that the chicken looked under cooked and she offer me to take my plate so they can cook it/warm it up. She didn’t gave me much options on changing my meal, or make it work for me. Food is ok, atmosphere is chill. Owner was very attentive with all the customers which is great, but his team needs some work. Overall, I give it a 3/10.

This was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant. I ordered a spinach salad that was swimming in dressing. The linguine with clams was strange because the clams were tiny, smaller than my thumb! They had no clam flavor and the sauce was very thick. My husband had pasta with a simple tomato sauce that tasted like it came out of a jar! The wine list was okay but way overpriced!

The food was beyond phenomenal, my husband is Italian and i know authentic when i see it. This is by FAR thee best Italian place i have EVER been to. My husband was blown away on how great the food was. The prices were just as fabulous. The only reason i put 3 stars for service is because i think it was our waiters 1st or 2nd day and had some things to work on.

Positano Ristorante is a premier spot for Italian dining in the Oak Brook area, and stands out amidst a crowd of restaurants in the area. Upon arriving I was greeted to a warm, lively atmosphere as well as friendly, polished service. My party had a risotto and grilled calamari appetizer, and not only did they come in large portions, but they were also very delicious. My dinner, the pollo parmigiana, was also delicious, and I was stuffed after all the food. But I did end up having dessert, and their tiramisu is also very good. But what struck me the most is the price point for the food. One gets very good food for a lower price than one would expect. Overall, Positano Ristorante is a polished, go-to spot for Italian fare in the Oak Brook area, and I will definitely be back in the future.

We had a bridal shower with 67 people on 6/25 and the food was delicious! We received so many compliments on the food. The atmosphere was great and there was plenty of room for people to socialize during cocktail hour. The staff was outstanding, so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Positano for dinner or an event.
