Wonderful customer service. I had someone come to my vehicle the second I pulled into the drive up line. Easy ordering, and less than 5 minutes from order time to bite! Fries initially reminded me of school lunch from the old school crinkle cut but don’t let that full you! 10/10 perfectly crunch and salty. The hot dogs … pull up a seat. With the #2 combo you get two dogs. They ask if you want to get everything on it. I told her I’m from NJ and want it authenticate . She said “everything on it!” I got a Coke Zero to wash it all down. The bun is perfect. The pickle is , a pickle but they are some fresh ingredients!! Delightful and a great treat from an out of towner!

Best portillos location in my own personal opinion based on my experiences. The service was top notch and the food was great. Fries were fresh and I would definitely recommend this location to everyone. Today I got the Italian beef dipped of course and the wife had the beef sausage combo. Didn’t have room for a cake shake but I will return for it

Came here for dinner with my family and the food was amazing, very sad they took the Mushroom Pesto pasta dish off the menu but the pasta in vodka sauce topped with mozzarella and meat balls was delicious. The spaghetti and meat sauce was delicious as well and my kids alway order the chicken tenders and cheese fries. Love the decor I may add, it feels cool walking in especially dinning in. It’s such a nostalgic old time Chicago feeling. If you’re ever visiting Chicago I highly recommend this establishment, give them all of your money

Had a great first experience at Portillo’s. The line to order moved quickly and our food was also served up quickly. Everything was hot and tasted good! Sue was also very attentive to our booth and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. Her attentiveness and customer service was really appreciated, it made our day.

The scenery has an unique vibe with an old antique car in the center. Now, the bad news is the fries were undercooked (free replacement which were barely better), the burgers were nearly cold by the time we were able to eat, the restaurant smelled foul, and an employee kept asking our names then walked away. Overall, I appreciated the quick service and the peace that came along with it, but the food was mediocre.
