I am so happy to report that Pho Rosemount has phenomenal, authentic Vietnamese food. It’s so nice to have a place nearby to grab some of my favorite dishes. The pricing is great, as the portions are huge! My first time here I got the egg rolls, pho, and banh mi. Superb. Today, I tried the Pork Vermicelli with Egg Roll- pictured. I don’t think the photo does the portion size or beauty of it justice. Definitely come give it a try! Everyone working is so pleasant and continually filled my water and checked on things. Great job, guys! I’ll be back!

Last night I visited this Vietnamese restaurant with my son, and honestly, it turned into one of those meals that sticks with you—in the best way. I’ve tried a lot of Vietnamese spots over the years, and this one hit a sweet balance: the food was genuinely very good, but the service somehow managed to be even better. From the moment we walked in, it felt welcoming, calm, and comfortable, like the kind of place that takes pride in doing things the right way without making it feel stiff or overly formal.

Let me start with the food, because it deserves the spotlight. Everything we ordered tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of the kind of flavor that makes Vietnamese cuisine so special. The ingredients didn’t feel “heavy” or over-seasoned, and nothing tasted like it came from a shortcut. The flavors were clean, bright, and layered—exactly what you hope for when you’re craving Vietnamese food. You can tell the kitchen cares about consistency and quality, and it really shows in the final result.

Now, the egg rolls. I have to call these out specifically because they were sensational. Crisp on the outside, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor without being greasy. Some places serve egg rolls that are just “fine,” the kind you eat because they’re there, but these were the kind you order because you actually want them. The crunch was exactly right, and the filling tasted balanced and well-seasoned. Even my son couldn’t stop talking about them, and if you have kids, you know that kind of enthusiasm is the most honest review you can get. He took one bite and his whole face lit up, and then he kept asking if we could get more. That moment alone made the meal feel extra special.

Speaking of my son, I really appreciated how friendly and patient the staff was with us. Dining out with a child can sometimes feel stressful, especially if you’re worried about timing or whether the atmosphere is too quiet. Here, it felt easy. The team was kind and attentive in a way that didn’t feel forced. They checked in at the right moments, answered questions without rushing us, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. You could tell they weren’t just doing their job—they were genuinely making sure we had a good experience. That kind of service leaves a strong impression, and it’s a big reason I’ll be coming back.

The service being “better than the food” is not something I say often, because good food is usually the deciding factor. But in this case, the staff made the experience smoother, warmer, and more enjoyable. They were quick without being pushy, attentive without hovering, and friendly without putting on an act. That balance is hard to get right, and they absolutely nailed it.

One detail I really loved was how they handled my food to go. Sometimes takeout packaging feels like an afterthought—leaky containers, messy presentation, or food that’s thrown together in a way that makes it less enjoyable once you get home. Here, it was the opposite. They packed everything neatly and carefully, like they wanted it to arrive in great shape, not just “good enough.” That level of care matters, especially when you’re bringing food home for later, and it made me trust them even more. It’s a small thing, but it speaks loudly about the restaurant’s standards.

Overall, this place delivered exactly what I hoped for and more. Very good food, exceptional service, and little thoughtful details that elevate the whole experience. If you’re looking for a Vietnamese restaurant that feels welcoming, serves food with real flavor and freshness, and treats you like they’re genuinely happy you came in, I’d absolutely recommend giving this spot a try. My son loved it, I loved it, and we’re already talking about what we’ll order next time—especially those egg rolls. If you go, do yourself a favor and don’t skip them.

This was my first & last time trying this place. I ordered shrimp fried rice & chicken wings by phone ahead of time. I was told it would be a 15 mins wait. I arrived 20 mins after ordering. I waited an additional 20 mins for my two items. I went up to the counter and told the man my order. He turned around and walked away. Ok, so I got the hint that my food was not ready. I sat & waited at a table with someone else waiting for their to go order. There were 4 other people waiting for their orders as well.

I noticed a table with 5 people. One guy was already deep into eating his Pho when the man working came out with another bowl of Pho. I heard the little girls asking where their food was. I heard another girl say, where are my spring rolls we have been waiting forever. No one at that table had their food at the same time. No one was eating together.

They put a fair amount of shrimp in their soggy shrimp fried rice. They put so much oil it started to pool at the bottom of the container. They did not close my box of wings & they put onions in there. That made the already nasty tasting wings soggy. This was a waste of time & money. I will never return. Take your money to China Wok down the street.

While this eatery is nothing fancy, it’s more than comfortable and serves up great comfort food for an amazing value. I’m really grateful we have this new addition to the southeast Metro. My family ordered a variety of dishes, including bahn mi sandwiches, General Tso’s chicken, and Orange Chicken and a Grilled pork vermicelli bowl with shrimp and egg roll. Everything was devoured with gusto. Excellent flavors.

In a pleasantly surprising twist, they have both lunch and dinner specials, which have very generous portions. This is probably what will keep us coming back.

The service is very friendly, and we didn’t have to wait very long for our food. We look forward to our next visit.

Been here twice so far and the food is great! Best part is that you’ll spend around $10-15 per person and the portion sizes are giant. Pho is great, along with the vermicelli. Service is exceptional and quick. Staff are super friendly!

The service was good. The food was awful. It looked like it just got poured over out of barbecue sauce on it.order chicken in general tso and it was swimming in sauce . was like barbecue sauce.. It taste like barbecue sauce in the Sesame chicken was the same way it was swimming and sauce no Chris. It was all soggy. Fried rice was saggy and sticky not enough sesame oil. I don’t know how long we’ve been in business, but it was my hopefully go to because everything‘s closed on Monday, but I will never go back

We stopped by here after a visit to Lebanon Hills Regional Park and it was the perfect post – hike fuel on a crisp fall day.

The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside has some decor scattered throughout the restaurant and the service was so friendly. They were really accommodating and kind considering we came in with our 3 kids.

We ordered the beef and meatball pho and it was delicious – some of the best pho I’ve ever had. My husband and I loved it. So much depth of flavor and they gave generous portions of meat. We ordered chicken fried rice, wontons, and butterfly shrimp for the kids, and they loved it. We did too! Everything was so good. We will definitely be back.

I was hopeful about this place, but it’s a no for me. We were really hungry & decided to give it a try. We ordered a tofu banh mi, a pork banh mi & Vietnamese coffee. The pork banh mi was good, but I didn’t enjoy the tofu one, the bread wasn’t fresh & the overall flavor was just okay. The Vietnamese coffee also had a strange aftertaste. The restaurant was pretty packed, so the service was a bit slow, but that wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I don’t think I’d come back.
