We visited family in WV and, after a day of exploring, we visited Port West. It was our first visit, but our family highly recommended it as they had previously enjoyed eating there. The folks that run the place are fun and hardworking. The food was home made and on point. It is not a large restaurant, making it cozy and homey. They appear to do a lot of take out orders, and I am not surprised. They offer a wonderful choice of soups, sandwiches and entrees…something for everyone. Definitely recommend and hope to visit again the next time we are in the area!

If you haven’t been to Port West Restaurant in Westernport, MD do yourself a favor and go. My wife and I go there as often as possible and have never had a bad meal or experience there. Everything we have ordered we have loved and the staff is awesome. We are made to feel welcome and well taken care of every time. For a great meal at a very fair price you can’t do any better in our opinion.

We stopped in the Port West Restaurant a couple of times. Great burgers and fries. The battered fries are a real treat.
The service was top notch, and the dining room was clean and well kept.
