The chuleta was very good and worth the price, even though it was a little overcooked, it was not bad . The bacalaitos was over cooked and oily, I could not belive the cook had the nerve to serve them to customers, the cook should be removed from the kitchen or closely shoervised. The wait staff addressed the situation and was going to have a new batch made for us, but we decided to just wait for the main dish.

The resturant was not very busy, the service was very slow they only had two servers during dinner time, I am not sure if it was because if the inexperienced cook or kitchen staff or short staffing with servers.

I will come back again and give them another try because I want to try the rest of the menu.

Our first visit and it was fantastic! We will make it a regular outing for us. The food was super flavorful with all the right Puerto Rican spices. Service was great! We felt like we were eating on the island which we visit every chance we get.

We’ve been following these owners since their food truck days and were thrilled to see them open a brick-and-mortar location. The Puerto Rican food here is incredibly delicious and full of authentic flavor.

We ordered the pernil and a classic Cuban sandwich, and both were excellent—perfectly seasoned, comforting, and made with care. My favorite item are the tostones. They were crispy, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. With the garlic sauce is a must.

The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s clear the owners put heart into both their food and their hospitality. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back often.

The food was absolutely amazing and truly authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, everything was flavorful and well-prepared. I ordered the churrasco with mofongo, and my husband got the pernil with arroz con gandules. Both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. I understand that they may be understaffed, but the wait time was very disappointing. It took about an hour and 15 minutes for us to receive our meals, which felt excessive. While I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, the service unfortunately did not meet expectations during this visit.

Our server Joaquín was excellent. We had cod (bacalaitos) and tostones (fried plantains) for appetizers. The tostones were great for sharing. For our entree, we both had the special, pastelón (a type of sweet plantains lasagna; it was delicious!

I can’t comment on atmosphere because I did take out. The service was friendly. The food I ordered was not good. I’m not sure what all the great reviews are for. My husband and I both ordered the steak and it was cooked rare although we asked for medium rare. I’m not considering that in my review because since we did takeout, I assumed they tried to undercook it in consideration for the ride.

The steak was so salty. I’m a person who adds salt to everything but it just tasted very heavy, maybe even iodized salt where I’m used to a more subtle Himalayan salt taste. The tostones were also incredibly salty. We ordered the garlic and parm chicken wings and while they were fried well, they lacked seasoning. They did give us 3 chicken chimichuri which tasted good but the chicken was pretty dry. It’s unfortunate because we love Hispanic and island food, but for the price and taste, we won’t be back, at least for some time.
