Stopped here last Spring on the way across the country. I had the Classic #1. The store and bathrooms were clean and good condition. The staff were friendly and efficient. The sandwich was just awful. Sadly, I think it was prepared to spec, but it was just the most bland, boring, tasteless Sub I’ve ever had. My wife and daughter both had one of the Turkey subs and agreed. Nothing particularly wrong with the ingredients or preparation, just a strikingly bad tasting sandwich.

intercepted a radio signal out in the Ranchos claiming that Port of Subs slices their meat ‘fresh’ in front of you. That is obviously code. It means they haven’t had time to install the tracking microchips yet, so it’s the safest lunch option in the sector.
I walked in and ordered a #7 (Roast Beef), but I specifically told the girl, ‘Do not cut the bread.’ If you slice the sourdough, you sever the fiber-optic cables baked into the crust that transmit my location data to the pigeons in the parking lot. She looked at me like I was speaking ‘Girly Boyfriend Country,’ but she complied. That’s operational discipline.
I watched the slicer closely. The frequency of the motor is exactly the same pitch as a government drone. Coincidence? I think not. I took the sandwich out to my flatbed to scan it for bugs. I didn’t find any listening devices, just a lot of provolone. They are getting better at hiding it.
Three stars because the sandwich was delicious enough to risk the surveillance, and they gave me extra peppers without asking for my social security number. Lost two stars because I know for a fact that ‘Port of Subs’ is an anagram for ‘Robots Sup.’ You can’t fool me.

Ordered a party platter for a family gathering and they didn’t have it ready. I showed the receipt from my bank payment and got nothing but attitude. They said they didn’t have the order, the accused me of lying threatening me with the police though they were making the order. They said they called employees but the guy that was there recognized us. They said no one took the order. She said they checked the cameras but we weren’t on them which was bull. Worst experience ever, really. Just own your shit and get the order done. Don’t take it out on the customers cause you messed up.

We stopped here on our way through town. I have Celiac disease and they wiped down all the surfaces and put on new gloves just to make my lettuce wrapped sandwich. The workers were so kind and hard working. I highly recommend! They even made my tired daughter smile by talking to her!

Wow the service of this place is impeccable! Maybe it just this town, but it is rare to walk into a quick service restaurant and be greeted with such enthusiasm and kindness! The two ladies working at this place, Marie and Connie, were just wonderful! They both greet you with kind smiles and pour love into your order. I was smiling the whole time through my order just from their kindness and amazing service! They’re awesome! I got the chicken melt and it was delicious. Thank you Marie and Connie!

Walked in at 7:30pm just now to get a sandwich on my way through a 15 Hour Drive. The girls immediately tried to stop me from ordering saying that they were closing up. I told them that the store hours were posted for 8 PM. They proceeded to ask me what I wanted then literally threw the ingredients of my turkey and provolone sandwich onto the bread. I told the girl I wanted lettuce, tomato, and onions. She piled on a bunch of raw onions, slapped two slices of tomato on there and then shuffled me through the checkout process where I didn’t have time to notice what else they were doing. I got back to my car to realize they didn’t include any lettuce so I have the thinnest sandwich ever with barely any meat or cheese four pepperoncinis one tomato slice and a bunch of raw red onion on there wow thanks for your terrible work ethic and service now I’ll have the most horrible onion breath ever for the rest of my seven hours on this drive. Do not go here if you want a good experience I only hope that this sandwich doesn’t make me sick. If a manager reads this, the two girls working tonight should be disciplined if not fired.

Place has easy parking in a convenient location. It was a joy to watch the smiley employees use the deli slicer upon the orders and the price is terrific. But… There was just one major problem… THAT SANDWICH WAS INCREDIBLY GROSS – despite having the right ingredients etc.
