Always a good location. We love coming to Pop’s Diner! The restaurant is always spotlessly clean, and the food comes out incredibly fast without sacrificing quality—it tastes amazing every single time.
We did have a small issue with the orange juice during our last visit, but the staff handled it immediately and with so much care. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the service. The waitresses are consistently friendly and so patient with our children, which makes dining out as a family stress-free. Highly recommend!

The food was great, but I had lipstick on my coffee cup. That immediately set a bad tone to the rest of the visit. I wish I’d have taken a picture of it.

Stopped here for a bite while visiting in the area. The atmosphere was inviting, it wasn’t super crowded and the staff was great. Our waitress had a good attitude, was knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. The food was on point! Absolutely LOVED the biscuits and gravy. Also, kids eat for free, not sure what the age limit is though.

First time here while attending the Virginia Beach Funk fest 2025. Which was spectacular on Saturday!! This place had great service, great food, and the atmosphere was good. I had the crab & shrimp omelette and it was made with fresh lump crabmeat! Could have more drink choices such as lemonades and non-alcoholic refreshing drinks. Otherwise, I would eat here again!

We went here for the first time and had a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was good. I got the shrimp and grits and thought it was very seasoned and delicious. And my husband got the Jerry’s Sandwich, which was sweet & savory and delicious. Great place overall and definitely recommend it for a nice breakfast or lunch place!

Went to Pops due to great reviews on Maps, we are originally from Michigan visiting family. Service was great, I believe our waiter name was David, cool guy! Our food was delicious! No complaints whatsoever. Adding pictures of our dishes. Not pictured is the delicious mimosa I had with my meal. Recommending this to everyone and will be back the next time I visit.

I visited this place for breakfast on New Year’s Day, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The food was incredible, easily deserving a perfect score of 10/10. It arrived piping hot and fresh within just 6 or 7 minutes of ordering. The server was not only polite but also very generous, and to my surprise, a kind customer even paid for my meal. What a wonderful way to kick off the new year! If I weren’t just on a week-long vacation, I would definitely dine here every day.
