O&H Danish Bakery has the best traditional Kringle’s you’ll find in Wisconsin. This is the main location and offers at least 20+ flavors including seasonal favorites like Mardi Gras Kringle that has beads and a ring just like the cakes do! We have had several flavors over the years and they are all generously filled and very flavorful! They also have delicious donuts of every kind as well as fresh breads and cookies. They have a small indoor seating area to enjoy a cup of gourmet coffee with your sweets.

EXCELLENT Kringle. (Honestly the best, IMO). They have doughnuts, breads, coffee cakes, and a selection of frozen foods and meals (prepared in-house, so not bulk, processed stuff) all of which are absolutely WONDERFUL. (plus they have some super-fun gifts and candies throughout the store!) They also have a variety of sandwiches and such in a cold-case near the coffee bar which serves coffee from a well-known Wisconsin-based roaster, and they even have their own special blend which pairs perfectly Kringle, Seven Sisters Coffee cake, and all the other baked goods on offer.

Excellent local bakery with small town service! Everyone was very nice, prompt and professional. I suggest visiting early in the day as when I went in the evening, most of the bakery and soup were sold out (understandable). I visited this morning and even though they were very busy, I was able to order bakery goods and check out within 10 minutes.

We chose O&H for our wedding cake and they did an INCREDIBLE job! We wanted something wintery for our christmas wedding and boy, did they deliver! We were so impressed by the cake when we got to the venue, and not to mention, it was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend! Chriss, the wedding organizer, was also incredible to work with! 🙂

Stopped in to get something for breakfast! They use hard boiled eggs on their breakfast sandwiches and it was good! I also got a brownie with walnuts and it was good! Didn’t walk out with a kringle this time but definitely stared at the beautiful display!

If the objective when calling is to place an order for pick up the same day you need to offer better customer service! Placing a phone order is very important because more often than not when I go to your Douglas Ave. location you’re out of most bread selections. The robotic recorded message is annoying and not effective if you want your customers to stay on the phone. When calling to place an order the wait time is too long which is very bad customer service!! Asking to leave a message for a return call is ineffective and not useful if I’m not near my phone when and IF I get a return call. A return phone call will take much more time than if you had enough staff to answer phone calls and take orders. Finally, many of your “ambassadors” are grumpy and unpleasant. I feel this phone system you have in place is arrogant and is disrespectful to your many loyal Racine customers who have relied on good, personal service for many years. Unfortunately, you’ve fallen into the trap that it’s okay to replace personal customer service with cheap technology. I’ve been in sales for 27 years and my success is based on exemplary personal service, because, —- It can’t always be about the money!!!! Racinians are funny that way when it comes to personal customer service — that’s a good thing!! For these these reasons and more I’ll take my business elsewhere.

A wonderful piece of Nordic heaven in Racine! From the friendly staff, to the luscious food, to the the Nordic atmosphere, it was a delight. We had a couple excellent sandwiches and took the opportunity to buy and fly back with two Kringles that we cant find in the stores near us! Worth the brief stop.

Very clean/new facility with a great selection of baked treats, cakes, and their famous kringle. The sandwiches were good, inexpensive, and included chips, a pickle, and sugar cookie… but a bit on the smaller side…
