They get the food out quickly, but its 50/50 for food quality. Some days the chicken is crispy and atleast on par with the average popeye’s, other days it seems old or not cooked well. Good service, food qualit hit or miss.

A simple order that they couldn’t make right. I ordered a plain chicken sandwich with bacon, but they forgot to add it. I asked where the bacon was, and she gave me a cold bacon instead.

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich(meal). The chicken sandwich had to be prepared previously and sitting under their heater for at least one hour or more. The bread was a little dry and hard, the cheese has been warmed so long it almost looked like see-through glass. The breading on the chicken was essentially rubbery and not flaky.. even the pickles looked like wet cucumbers. I love Popeyes and I always get my chicken sandwiches super fresh, flaky, crispy, chicken and very soft. Unfortunately, was the worst Popeyes chicken sandwich I’ve ever had because they practically tasted microwaved and rubbery.

Highly recommend to only eat sandwiches that are freshly prepared and inspect your food at this location to make sure your food wasn’t sitting under a heater for a long time

Love their spicy chicken sandwich. Sweet tea is too sweet sometimes.

We have been a regular here for several years. We had an issue at the very beginning, years ago. Now the manager Marivic, takes amazing care of us. Some how she remembers our most liked foods.
The location does have turnover, however they continue to do a great job for fast food.

First of all I eaten at several Popeyes on the island for years and use the mobile app most of the time because of the time saving. The food pretty taste the same at all location. The reason for the 2 stars is because this location do not process your mobile orders unless you let them know. Twice this happened to me. When you place your mobile order, the ticket come out on a separate machine then the one attached to the register. The problem is, they don’t check that machine. Today, my order was 83. They took two orders after mine came through, and prepared their food, which I understood, because they were already with the customer. But when they started helping the next set, I went to the counter and about mine. They didn’t know about it, but they are working on it now. I didn’t get my order until they have serve number 91 and the line was gone. I think I would have gotten my food faster if I went through the line like everyone else.

The BX Food court is disgustingly dirty. What happened to military standards?

For being a fast food place, food was very inconsistent. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and I have no idea how they messed it up! Chicken breast was thick in one half and flat as a pancake on the other. Two pickles? That part of the recipe? Furthermore, the only difference between the original and the spicy sandwich is the sauce. Which, I actually had to go back to the cashier to get, because the cook forgot to put it on. Food wasn’t good, not was the service. Also, there’s a clear, plastic divider at the tables. Why???!!! Am I some sort of barbarian, sitting down with a complete stranger? It’s obvious if I am dining with someone, I’ve broken the six foot guideline for space.

This Popeyes is quite disappointing. The portions here are much smaller than the Popeyes on the mainland. I paid $12.50 for a 3-piece chicken platter to go. I ordered the spicy flavor, but later discovered that I was given regular. The chicken pieces were the smallest I have ever seen in a chicken restaurant. Even a McDonald’s 6-piece chicken nugget meal would have been more filling. I felt like there was more crust than the meat itself. It’s not just Popeyes in Hawaii that has quality issues. It’s best to stay away from the mainland chain brands in Hawaii, and patronize local brands.
