I love Popeyes, but this place is comically terrible. It’s a relatively new location, but their equipment is constantly breaking down, forcing them to close in the middle of the day. The only logical explanation would be if this place were a money laundering operation. Just awful.

The employees are nice. It’s the service that’s awful. Where’s my biscuit? I’m confused! I’ve tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. Told myself that maybe this time my order will be fine. But it turns out to be a disappointment. I rarely get Popeyes because I rarely eat out and to not get my order right every single time, is plane theft. They know you can’t go inside to complain because only drive thru. You can call but they’ll pickup if they feel like it. It’s sad.

Been coming to Popeyes since I’ve moved closer to it and KFC has only one location in SCV and I’ve never been impressed with that location. Finally after hearing about the hype and the fights I got to try this infamous Chicken Sandwich. I have to admit it was better than I thought it was going to be. Hint of that creamy sauce at the bottom bun gave it a slight spicy kick but what really surprised me was the chicken was thick and juicy. Pickle added a nice touch to round off the sandwich.

Had their ghost pepper chicken bone-in wings. If they still have them when you read this they have almost zero spice heat. The commercial for them pretty much communicates that but i expected some heat. None. But…..delicious. Mash potatoes with their gravy is easily the nest of the three major fast food chicken chains. KFC, Popeye’s and Churches. Service was good. Friendly. Got at least one wing that wasn’t breaded with the”ghost pepper” breading and regardless of the commercial literally zero spice heat is unacceptable if you’re going to tag your item as affiliated with gp so took one star off for that. That said, Popeye’s spicy regular chicken, their sandwiches and sides, as fast food goes, are all outstanding.

1 star because they got my entire order wrong, no one wanted to help me besides the assistant manager Kevin, who was a big help and very friendly. However, every other employee or manager ignored me, Some other manager named Ismal was just on his phone the entire time ignoring me doing absolutely nothing, while kevin had to stop what he was doing just to assist me when the OTHER MANAGER should of helped me instead of being on his phone standing around.

This is by far the worst Popeyes location. Allow me to clarify, the food is great, it’s like every other Popeyes, they all follow the same recipes. The problem with this location is the service, me saying that they are slow is an understatement. I have never waited this long at any other location. Seriously, I am writing this while waiting in the drive thru line for an app order. “Why don’t you just go in?” you say. Well it’s because the lobby is closed due to short staffing, which seems to be a regular problem, SERIOUSLY! Called and asked if they could just hand me my food that I assumed would be ready for me when I arrived but no, they will not. I asked if I could cancel the order and was told that would have to be done in the app, but there is no way to cancel, so I am forced to wait. I haven’t even begun to tell you about past experiences. Simply the worst!!!!! Management needs to get their heads out of their @$$3$ and figure this out! Completely ridiculous!! And if you wondered how long I waited 40 minutes.

why is every Popeyes service so bad? doesn’t matter where you are they just can not get it right. this one always forgets something or is rude. I get it. its a bad paying job and I’m sure the customers aren’t the nicest, but come on. additionally a back door was propped open and one of the workers in the back was eating noodles while preparing food.

Probably the worst Popeyes in the area. They open late as possible, probably even close as early as possible (they open an hour later than the actual time posted). I remember seeing a couple customers being sent out despite opening time and the manager or an employee locked the door even though the hours says it was open so more customers wouldn’t come inside. Soda machine doesn’t work half the times I’ve been in there, and overall it seems like the workers don’t even want to be there. It’s been on the downtrend since it opened. At one point I remember a pot smoker was the manager lol, one day high on the job as a cashier and the next day as a manager. I don’t know what goes down or what’s the deal with this Popeyes location but I could just tell its inside corporate-manager-employee politics is just a mess. Everyone can come work whenever they want and they will serve you whenever they want lmao 10/10 will definitely come again
