Every time, I come to PopEyes it’s always dirty. It seems to me that employees never sweep the floors or clean the tables. It’s just dirty, if the health inspector paid a visit, they would fail. Some of the employees seem not to care about their job and provide a half ass job. The wait time is ridiculous 30 minutes to an hour to get your food, that is crazy. And to top it off customer support is a wasted of time. The phone number they provide just send you straight to the Popeyes app. Complete trash.

Havent been to popeyes in 22 years and came to give it a try and did not disappoint juiciest chicken sandwich ever had and the balance of its spices were a great combination. Added their signature sauce to the bacon and cheese chicken sandwich. The ghost pepper wasn’t as spicy as most spicy lovers would like but the bacon &cheese sandwich did not disappoint. Never had mashed potatoes like they serve but it sure was good. You get that oomph kick to it!

I am sorry to say that this is the last time I will visit my local Brownsville Popeyes. I had noticed that the service and quality of food had been going down (chicken under heat lamp too long), but my last visit took the cake. I paid over $11 for a 1/4 pound shrimp combo. I took pics of what I got. No way is this 1/4 pound of shrimp. Plus, no biscuit. I also got a 2 piece chicken combo that was supposed to be spicy (I couldn’t tell). Food tasted eh—other Popeyes serve you fresh food that actually comes to you as advertised. Disappointed that I will no longer be able to get Popeyes in Brownsville.

It was $78.00 for all our meals the chicken has more batter than chicken. The rice and beans I loved and the fries and the chicken sandwiches I would definitely invest in a deep clean of all the establishment or just remolding over all. Install some blue light fly traps to avoid them getting on the exposed fried chicken. The only reywe go is becauseu kids live the chicken sandwiches. The location needs some TLC I’m sure it’s making money to be able to clean it up

Very terrible. Waited about an hr to get the food. This wasn’t the first time. Food wasn’t even fresh. It was cold so what exactly was I just waiting there for? Were they just sitting there?! The staff needs to do better or get a different store manager. Don’t recommend coming again to this location and I won’t come ever again. They’re gonna go out of business too

Went there for lunch and ordered the $4 good deal. I ordered the combo and that one comes with these tiny chicken strips, a small side, a biscuit, fries and a drink. Halfway through eating my meal I remembered that my combo should’ve come with fries and there were no fries included. The drive through clerk was not so friendly and didn’t say a single word apart from speaking out the total. The attached picture is of the box, it’s missing chicken strips since like I mentioned, I noticed the lack of fries halfway through the meal. Taste was good but lacking in serving size and the attention to detail. I would go again but would double check my order before leaving.

The workers here are ALWAYS rude!! It’s not anyone’s choice but your own to work in the service industry! All my food was thrown in a bag! The biscuits could have been placed in a box but I guess that would be too much to ask of people who HATE their jobs! I hope cooperate office reads this review because honestly someone needs to make a visit to this store!

This place sucks bad… Waited almost an hour for food wasnt even busy asked for mac and cheeze and already said we dont have any… The food when we got are order was sloppy like a sloppy joe sandwhich mac and cheeze tasted like dirty rag water didnt even eat it and the whole time i waited i watched at least 10 people come from the drive threw and there orders were all wrong…SMH I dont not or will not eat here agin
