When I got to the window, I was told to pull around to the front and wait. After sitting in my car for about 10 minutes, I decided to go inside to check on my order. At this point it was already around 7:28 and I still hadn’t received anything. I had only ordered a 3-piece tender combo.
Inside, there were only about two other people waiting. They also never gave me my drink at the window like they were supposed to. After another 10 minutes someone finally asked what order I had. I also noticed employees handling food without gloves, and they were just then dropping fresh tenders even though my order should have been ready over 30 minutes earlier.
At that point I told them I would take whatever tenders were ready because I just wanted to leave. I finally got my order around 7:48 PM — over 40 minutes after it was supposed to be ready.
This location consistently has problems whenever the same manager is working. The place looks unorganized inside, service is extremely slow, and management doesn’t seem to have things under control. Waiting 40 minutes for three tenders when the store isn’t even busy is unacceptable.
I was most excited about the sides, but they were just as disappointing. The Red Beans and Rice, which are supposed to be smoky and rich, were thick and lukewarm, tasting like they’d been sitting since the lunch rush. The Buttermilk Biscuit was hard, crumbly, and lacked the buttery moisture that makes them edible—it was closer to a projectile weapon than a baked good. Even the Cajun Fries were lifeless, soggy with oil and missing that vital dusting of spice.
