Waited for fresh food. All were satisfied with the food in my family. We drove a great distance to get here and waited 30 minites for food, but it was worth it…so much better than other Popeyes. Polite & professional

I stopped at this Popeyes location while visiting a friend and ordered a 6 piece spicy tender meal along with a $5 box that included three pieces of chicken. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
First, the portion sizes were shockingly small. Every piece of chicken in the $5 box was tiny and extremely hard, so hard that it tasted like it had either been over fried or refried multiple times and sitting for a while. The tenders were the same way, overly hard, dry, and clearly not fresh. When I bit into one, it actually cut the roof of my mouth because it was impossible to pull apart. That alone is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the tenders were not spicy at all. Anyone who eats Popeyes regularly knows you can usually see the difference between spicy and original (the red seasoning specks are visible when you break the chicken apart). These had none of that. I was sold food that was not what I ordered and clearly not fresh. Another issue was the sauces. I was only given two sauces for a 6 piece tender order. I understand one sauce with a 3 piece, but with six tenders, it’s reasonable to expect at least three. Before pulling off, I checked the bag and then I asked the employee very politely if I could have two more sauces and some Cajun Sparkle. She gave them to me but said, “It’s typically an extra charge, but it’s okay.” That comment didn’t sit right with me. If it’s an extra charge, I should’ve been told and given the option to pay because I had no problem doing so. If it wasn’t an issue, there was no need to say anything at all. That interaction was my first red flag. The second red flag came once I got home and actually ate the food. Old, overcooked chicken at Popeyes ESPECIALLY considering how expensive it has become is unacceptable. I expected fresh food and decent service, and I received neither.
Overall, I was very unhappy with both the food quality and the service. Being sold old, rock-hard chicken and having awkward, unnecessary comments made during a simple request is not the experience I expect from Popeyes.

Came here for a late night (pregnancy) craving of mashed potatoes and picked up some chicken on the way. We were patiently taken care of and informed what they had and didn’t (keep in mind we arrived close to closing) They had everything we needed. We were so happy with the customer service. I have been to other restaurants where we have been turned down (sometimes 30-45 minutes before closing) but not here. A great team, thank you so much!

Order a 9 piece family pack and 10 piece garlic cheese curds.
I requested all breast and wings, which I paid extra for and for the chicken to be spicy.
I received all mild chicken and a mix of thighs and legs, which was literally the opposite of what I requested, and paid extra for.
To top it off I received like 3 small cheese curds, but ordered a 10 piece. My girlfriend was like did all the cheese curds fall in the bag, but nope they just put three inside.
Also paid extra for sauces but didn’t receive them.
I don’t often eat fast food, but when I do it’s like a cheat day and I am so excited for it. However, this has got to be the worse fast food experience I have ever had. I don’t even know why they took my order if they were going to give me the opposite of everything I requested.

Very disappointed. I ordered a family meal from this location, which included three sides: two coleslaws and one fries. The coleslaw smelled extremely bad and was clearly spoiled. I strongly do not recommend it. Despite multiple attempts to contact the restaurant, no one answered the phone.

We’ve ordered three specific meals, and NOT ONE was made properly. We repeated the order three times for each order to make sure she understood it. She repeated it back with an attitude and huffed and puffed about “picky eaters”… NOT picky eaters just careful with our allergies. They couldn’t even get our order out in a timely manner and by the time we got home and opened our boxes, they were all wrong. We’ve just moved to the area and we’re hoping that this is just a bad day, but I doubt we’ll order from this one again due to the rudeness of the cashier. When I used the bathroom, it was dirty and needed cleaning and restocking. Their fountain drinks tastes dirty which tells me the nozzles aren’t getting cleaned. Dining areas were dirty and no one tending to the empty tables, which was why we opted to eat at home.

I placed a combo order on my Popeyes app, it was ready when I got there. I was able to pick it up on the drive thru, huge plus for that!! My chicken tenders and macaroni were delicious!! Also, the worker was polite and nice, thank you Willowbrook Popeyes crew!!

The chicken sandwich with bacon was good. The fries were okay. They forgot my mac and cheese. I didn’t realize it until after we got home. I normally check my order after receiving it but we were in a hurry to get home. The one in Lisle is pretty good with making sure every order is fulfilled. The customer service could use some work like acknowledge every customer that walks in or comes to the counter. This is about a 2 for me since I was missing an item.

Went to this location and as always nothing is never right , no honey no fresh chicken , got all the way home and everything was cold and old , called the store as usual no manger is ever available. I was told my name would be put down for a replacement order, guess what????? Got there and nobody knows what’s going on, horrible customer service , very rude!! Corporate was going on!!!!?????? 40$ loss. And from the looks of y’all reviews….. Looking like a good lawsuit for all my money I have spent at this location and nothing is being done!!!

Absolutely awful experience. I ordered through the app and went through the drive thru. I got home and took out my food and it was all wrong. The receipt on the bag was the only correct thing. Everything was in the original boxes and nothing was touched so I brought it back and explained that it was wrong. The woman didn’t understand me, and I had to explain myself more than 3(!!) times. She acted like I made the food and put it in the box myself!!!! At that point I demanded a refunded and it was given.
