We had a DELICIOUS meal at Max’s last night. This was the first restaurant my friend and I tried when coming to Prague and it did not disappoint! The service was top teir and the food was phenomenal. We tried a variety of appetizers to start (different flavored wings and jalapeño poppers), all were very delicious. I ordered the filet, cooked to a perfect medium, with a side potato and finished off the night with some cheesecake. Everything was incredible and a great introduction to Prague! Can’t wait to be back!

I love this place. Every cut of meat is cooked to perfection and exactly how I asked them to. The sides are delicious and don’t take away from the steak and don’t add too much overhead, so the focus remains the steak.
The brunch is also extremely tasty and has a lot of variations. I suggest the Big Boss Breakfast.
The staff is very attentive and super nice, no attitude, just doing their best to make your life a little nicer at that point in time.
Exactly how it has to be.
The owner (Max) knows his staff very well, and knows his Whisky’s, giving regular tastings and special events.
All in all a very familiar, high quality space for all times of the day.

Max’s Steakhouse is in a decent location just a short walk from the main square. The décor and atmosphere are inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout our visit.
However, there were a few issues with the food. Two members of our group ordered their steaks well done, but they arrived closer to medium-well. Even after being sent back to be recooked, they still came out the same. Likewise, those of us who ordered medium-rare received steaks that were more medium.
The biggest disappointment was the lack of seasoning the steaks were very under-seasoned, which is surprising for a steakhouse. On the positive side, the included sauces, especially the red wine reduction, were excellent. Prices were reasonable and represent good value for the location.
Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable meal and enjoy steak without being too particular about the cooking, it’s worth a visit. Just don’t expect a top-tier steakhouse experience.

The food is outstanding (try any beef dish with the sauce!). The service is great, very helpful and friendly. The music isn’t loud, but the best part is that at a certain point everyone was humming and singing along. So thank you to the staff for the perfect atmosphere, we’re happy to visit again soon!

I loved the vibe in this place, and the decor was pretty cool too.
Food was so good- I had the beef brisket sandwich with fries and onion rings. Everything was cooked to perfection and served quickly, and drinks were replenished quickly too.
I plan to come back to sample more of the menu, and more cocktails, as soon as possible.

We bumped into this amazing local steakhouse where we were welcomed by the sweetest smile from whom would be our waitress. The food was easy to order and of the greatest quality. The ambience was cheerful and full of locals,we are planning on going back tomorrow as a matter of fact. Please do not miss the opportunity to dine at this picturesque Prague hidden gem.

Great steakhouse with lots of other options. Very tourist friendly menu, especially for Americans, and very reasonably priced. Great location with about a $5 UberX from the old town. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Prague. The owner seems like a great guy as well.

Possibly the best steak meal we have ever eaten. Both my partner and I had the fillet steak and it was gorgeous!
