Jose, the manager was very short with me regarding my orders. He basically told me to call corporate, that he cannot help. The photo of gravy is in a individual side container which is probably around 6oz. Instead of this, I got a black 2oz cup of gravy. Then we ordered all dark meat but told they only had enough for 1 order to make it all dark, at the window. Jose offered spicy so we accepted this. Unfortunately, whoever boxed it, did not lable and the chicken was mixed up between family who couldn’t have spicy. The chicken was also old, dried up. Jose said to bring it back, which I let him know I would not be doing that as we live 15mins from the restaurant. He said then there was nothing he could do. Overall, poor customer service from him, no attempt to make anything right after we spent $60 on incorrect and old food. Not cool, do better Jose.

So this location is the worst place I have ever gone to. Besides the fact that no matter what time of the day the food is somehow not fresh, the one time I got semi fresh food, it was not cooked all the way. Its unbelievable. I even asked the guy for something as simple as fresh fries and he told me “Its already bagged up” how when i literally just ordered it? Do not go here. The Deforest location is better as well as the one on Fish Hatchery Rd. Stay away.

Food’s always decent enough. Would have been nice if the cashier didn’t put in my order a different way than I specified to up-charge me, though. Didn’t want to argue with it so I just left it as is, but I’m definitely gonna be going to a different location moving forward.

Always have an amazing experience! I was even offered a coupon. Coworkers seem to enjoy working with each other and that is always a pleasure to see.
Food was fresh and just delicious. Had two-piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes & gravy and Cole slaw. Grateful to have this restaurant walking distance from home.

KAYA(sp?) is my fave server here. She is the most fair and helpful. It’s obviously she cares about customer satisfaction.
Today, without her working, I spent $22.12 requesting a 3-piece white meat plate and I walked away with one breast and two wings.
The coleslaw is always amazing tho!

I have a 40 year history with Popeyes Chicken. Back then you could order the best onion rings and fried chicken livers money could buy. You can no longer purchase those items but their chicken and cole slaw are just as delicious now as they were back then. I ordered a four piece spicy chicken dinner with cole slaw and a biscuit. The biscuit was disappointing. It was under baked, but the chicken and cole slaw was outstanding. The East Town location was clean with polite employees and fast service. I highly recommend it.

Ordered in the drive thru, I politely asked if I could get all flats with my 6 piece bone-in wings. He said no, they have to be mixed with a huge attitude. Fine no worries.
I open the order to check and I literally got an entire order of drumsticks. Not even 1 flat.
What happened to mixed?
The guy taking my order purposely put all drumsticks literally because I asked for flats.
Why is it EVERY SINGLE other Popeyes has had no problem fulfilling that request? But somehow this one has a problem picking out 6 flats?
But then to put ALL drumsticks after I ask for flats? Dude was doing it to prove a point. Jack-a55. I’ll never order from this Popeyes.

The last three times i’ve gone, my order has always been messed up. Either it’s missing food or the seasoning being completely different than what I ordered. Today 10/2/25 I went to the drive through after placing an order. When I got home come to find out not only is my mac n cheese missing but both my boneless wings and tenders didn’t have the right seasoning. I truly do enjoy the food here but it’s hard to do so when my orders are always being made wrong.

I finally stopped and tried the new wings with the sweet and spicy sauce. I also ordered the shrimp box with beans and rice. Wow! Everything came to me hot and crispy. I love that the wings wasn’t completely drenched in the sauce. The only complaint I have is that they gave me the wrong sides so I had to get back in line, which took another 5-10 mins

Tables aren’t very clean usually and the chicken sandwich is never good which is weird because every other chicken product and seafood of theirs is good. Employees are chill + easy to talk to but sometimes they are rude.

Being from the New Orleans area, I can say that the chicken was good. Like most chain restaurants the further you get away from its origin the less of quality control you have.
