Gross. I just went today and got macaroni pie, fried chicken and dumplings for my daughter and the food was not good. The Mac pie tasted like eggs and like it wasn’t done cooking. The dumpling was dry and the chicken had no flavor. It was fried real good but had no flavor. I felt like bringing back my food but I just didn’t feel like making trouble. Decided to leave review instead. Proceed with caution. Looks good but you’ll be fooled..smh

Flames is a very popular restaurant in my Dorchester neighborhood. Over the years, many people of different ethnicities come here to enjoy a taste of the Caribbean. Until recently, my last time there was probably three years ago and I’ve never been disappointed, until now. The service was horrible and both ladies behind the counter was rude and lacked customer service. I ordered the curry chicken. It was bland and had no seasoning. Everything tasted like it was cooked in one pot. It definitely wasn’t what I was expecting from them. Maybe they have a new cook or new management but the quality wasn’t the same. Between the bad customer service and the bland food, I doubt I’ll be back.

Lately, every time I visit the grove hall location the old lady is nasty with me. She’s loud, rude and constantly rolls her eyes like she doesn’t want to serve me. Every time I walk in and she is there, I walk out. I don’t need to pay money for that type of nastiness. She is absolutely bad for business. She’s a witch and needs to ride out on her broom stick!
