Used to be a great place to eat but has been consistently getting worse the passed few times we’ve gone. We have to wait FOREVER for our food even when I’ve tried ordering ahead on the app. There always seems to be plenty of workers, but they always seem to be casually taking their time. With that being the case you’d think they could at least get the orders right, but nope. Things are wrong/missing every time. The only reason I didn’t give a 1 is because they usually…eventually fix the mistakes, but we all got sick after eating there last night. Guess we’re officially done with this location.

the girl at the window was great, but drive thru is terrible and takes forever! employees are outside??? i have gone inside a few times as well and is always sticky and employees just sitting around. the employees behind the counter actually “working” seem to not have a purpose. to the franchise owner, FIRE AND HIRE.

I am 32 and I can say NEVER in my life have I gotten large sides from ANY Popeyes location and they were not full to the top. 1st time at the Lucedale location. My dirty rice was half full and my Mashed potatoes was maybe 3/4 full. As a pregnant woman, I was furious to see i was missing half my food!

The good, the lady who took my order was very friendly. The bad, The sides were way to salty. I had dirty rice as a side and I couldn’t even eat it due to the salt. My friend had red beans and rice and he had the same problem. Maybe it was a one time thing with a new cook or something. I also had a chicken sandwich ant it was very good and fresh, although I had to ask for more mayo.

Poor management/shift leads. No one there but a few people seemed to know what they were doing. Left items out of the order and had to wait almost 30 minutes before the order was ready. I was there two nights in a row picking up others orders. There had to have been 6-8 employees just standing around most of the time. Most everyone was more focused on their personal business then working and making orders. I get retail it not always the highlight of people’s lives but there is a job to be done at least fake it a little.

Every time my family orders dinner from popeyes they mess up our order and we have to drive all the way back to the store. Usually they are super nice about it, apologize and offer a refund or fix the order however today the guy who answered the phone was super rude and hung up on me. I will not be visiting this restaurant ever again.
