I ordered ahead on the app and still had to wait 25min to get my food. 8:30pm order so it certainly wasn’t rush hour and it was 2½ hours before close just for reference. $45 worth of food, 25 minute wait, my food was cold and my order wasn’t even correct or all there! I ordered a 12piece tender box (with 4 sides, 4 drinks, 4 biscuits), a chicken sandwich, an extra biscuit, 3 apple pies and 3 strawberry cream pies. The ONLY thing hot was the pies!! I ordered 3 apple, 3 strawberry…. I received 6 apple (3 with cinnamon sugar dusting, 3 without so we didn’t even know the order was wrong until we bit into them) no one even bothered to say, “hey we were out of strawberry and had to sub with 3 apples.” Chicken tenders, cold. Fries, cold. Rice and beans, cold. Mash potatoes, cold. Sandwich, cold and smooshed might I add! Biscuits, there was 1! I should have had 5 total, I had one loosely wrapped and tossed in the bag. I tried to contact on the app and the automated system gave me a complete runaround. It was a total waste of money and time!

We love this Popeyes, but this was a bad experience. I hardly ever use the drive though, but this time, after some bad weather, they had closed the dining room, as did other restaurants around them. It took 40 minutes to get our order. It put us way past our grandson’s bedtime before we could get him fed. They had us pull up because our order wasn’t ready when we got to the window. After 30 minutes, I tried to call them 3 times since the doors were locked. They never answered the phone. I tapped on the drive through window, and the person told me the apple pies just got done. Apple pies take 7 minutes to cook. I waited 30 minutes before I tapped on the window. It was a total of 40 minutes total before the order came out. We were serving 4 people.

The people working the counter do not acknowledge you when you come in the door. You walk up to the counter and they’re talking with each other and they’re laughing and don’t even say hello to you. Then when they’re done doing what they’re doing they walk up to the counter and mumble. You asked him what they say and they just Mumble again. Then the third time you tell them I cannot hear you they Mumble slightly louder. They do not tell you thank you for spending your money so they can actually have a job. It’s ridiculous that people are employed acting like this. And it falls back on the management. How the management team do not see these issues is beyond me. Some places need to just fire everyone and start over.

My wings were like wood I assume they had been in the warmer several hours. Everytime I visit it’s terrible I will not be returning. On a previous occasion I got raw chicken strips, I’m like you push a button it’s tells you when it’s done. So I called up there management said he’s a new cook. I am usually a big fan of this particular restaurant but the last 2 times have made it where I won’t be back for a while. The food, when they have what you order, is really good but the service the last 2 times have sucked! We waited 44 minutes for an order we placed on the app! We go to the drive thru after we placed our order, they pull us up, no problem, but after 20 minutes we go inside, where we are basically ignored! After 40 minutes we get told they don’t have any coleslaw. The last time they were out of mac and cheese and frozen lemonade!! I can see waiting MAYBE 20 minutes if it’s a good sized order! But almost an hour is unacceptable. Like I said food was good, but service not so much! You need to get better people to work in there!

EDIT;We went tonight and they forgot to give me my sauce with my popcorn shrimp so when we went back to get it they gave me more popcorn shrimp Me and the hubby love Popeyes! The kids didn’t use to like it because they didn’t have sides that weren’t a bit spicy. But the new homestyle Mac n cheese is delicious!!!

Literally the DUMBEST popeyes in mississippi. Been here multiple times and EVERY visit requires multiple explainations of the simplest concepts. 1 item from the menu, NO COMBO. I dont understand why they cannot grasp this concept. In the 4 years I have been in this area, this is the ONE thing consistent at ever visit. I’m done. Rather drive to the next town than deal with consistently ignorant people.
