This is fast food, but a cut above with choices and flavors. Not fine dining and a little pricey, but the Mexican flair is good and consistent. Those with food sensitivities or allergies will need to ask a number of questions. There are vegetables options, but could use larger serving size since no meats are being included. Meats are all very good and a nice variety. I love when they pack in the rice to fit more meat! Though it may depend on the person dishing out the food. Filling.
Chips and drinks are kind of overpriced. The chips are thin,not the hearty kind you get at restaurants. They will snap when you use them with the salsa (which as a little side, are also pricey).

Was shopping in area and I was 45 minutes from home decided to stopped here for dinner for family. The bar was out of several sides but plenty of chicken and rice so I went for it I ordered 3 regular chicken bowls and kids meal and spent $50. I drove home 45 minutes to learn I was given an all SPICY chicken even in a kids meal. It’s was not easy to turn around after driving home 45 minutes away. I contacted Support to discuss my issues and the rep was not helpful basically her reply was accidents happen and no resolution other than sorry.

I ordered and paid for double meat (an extra charge of 6.75) of a carne asada bowl. I got home to only find three small pieces of steak in the entire bowl. Absolutely pathetic. No doubt the employees are too lazy to cook the meat so they skimp as much as they can and really stick it to the to go orders because the customer doesn’t witnesses them portioning the protein. Beware if you order takeout. Apparently you have to inspect your food and hold them accountable to get a decent meal here.

Food is good, but takeout orders usually don’t have everything in the order. A lot of times it’s lacking my wife’s vinaigrette dressing. Tonight my son’s chicken burrito with a drink didn’t have the chicken or the drink.

I’ve had good experiences here in the past, but had a really disappointing one on Sunday 9/28 around 3:30pm. A person ordered several bowls so they were backed up a bit…cool. Myself and several others stood waiting patiently, while a customer in the middle/back of the line barges up and asks if they can take his order because he was in a hurry. The employee was obviously thrown off by the request and asked another employee who also didn’t really say anything. Then the customer doubles down, and they start making his food with no regard for the people who were on front of him and also waiting. It was beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. I left and did not order. I understand being busy and getting a little behind, but to then let someone skip the already established line just because they said they were in a rush and had the gall to ask and then feign ignorance is unacceptable.

I got the grilled chicken burrito bowl with guacamole. It was delicious! I ordered for pickup on the app, and my order was hot and fresh in just over 5 minutes, which was perfect timing to drive over and pickup. I ordered tortilla chips on the side for a perfect combo.

This is the cheapest chipotle I’ve been to. They barely put any food into the bowls. The guy put a small serving of rice in the bowl then spread it around to make it look like more. Such a rip off! Then he took forever to serve us. I’m glad that I am passing through because I wouldn’t come back if I lived here.

By far the worst Chipotle I’ve ever eaten from. Ordered to go and put the order in my car, it didn’t smell right as the smell went through the car. I got back to my hotel and opened up my barbacoa bowl and the meat was one big piece of fat, with very tiny shreds of beef. It was like a giant rubber band. It didn’t taste right, I pushed the meat aside and went for the rice and beans, which also tasted off. Instead of risking food poisoning, I threw the whole thing out. I should have taken the reviews seriously, worst Chipolte I’ve had.

First trip to Chipotle was so worth the stop & the wait! Dropped in here to grab a quick bite and I was thoroughly impressed. The softest rice, freshest quacamole w just the subtlest spice, chicken seasoned to perfection. Topped off w the salad and white shredded cheese. The crew is seen behind the counter steadily working and getting along bringing a welcoming atmosphere to relax. A good crew makes for a great day! Thank y’all for making my day great too! You don’t know what you’re missing until you’ve stopped by the Christiansburg location!

This is not the best run Chipotle, having been to numerous locations in several states… the food has never been bad here..but the presentation, so speak, doesn’t “pop” when you look at the food prep line. Each time I’ve went in, the rice is almost empty/dried out..the meats look like they’ve been sitting in the warmers for quite a while..and each time I’ve been, the lettuce is anything but fresh. You get what you pay for, so it is what it is. In fairness to this location..their location kills them business wise right now, which in turn affects the previously mentioned… I hope things improve for them, as the marketplace opens up, and the overall flow improves.
*update* while I don’t typically frequent the blacksburg locations, this location still leaves much to be desired, in my opinion. Probably won’t eat at this location again.
