I recently visited Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen at 1765 Norman Rd. In Valdosta, GA. I had a very good first experience at this restaurant and have gone back since. The parking lot is very nice and kept clean. Going into the lobby I was greeted quickly and my order was taken. The food came promptly and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious and I enjoyed it.

Food is good. Staff clearly does not want to be there, does not offer or give receipt so you cannot give a proper review when a mistake is made. Went through the drive thru, was missing a sauce. Went inside to get the missing sauce and had explained that the sauce was missing from my bag, staff clearly didn’t believe me so they asked me to repeat my order (it was just two meals) ordered thru drivethru, then interrupted me as I was repeating my order, then after a 3-5 minute wait they gave me the sauce (it was the wrong sauce [sweet n spicy] but due to the hostile environment I felt like I could not even speak up). I had stated I want to say maybe 3 or 4 times what sauce it was that was missing (it was one sauce, signature hot) only to be given the wrong sauce.
Does this look like the signature hot sauce from Popeyes to you? Because I believe the signature hot sauce is more orange. Furthermore my husband tried using the sauce that they incorrectly gave, but couldn’t eat it because as he said it was grainy. Which means their sauce bottles have to be cleaned, something I only know from working in fast food myself.
I mean, other than that interaction and the way it all made me feel, the food here is actually really good. Popeyes is one of my favorite chicken places. I just hated the environment/atmosphere inside as a result of the stuff.

Losing us as customers because chicken has been dry and they SKIMP on the amount of coleslaw in container it’s a small spoonful. Used to be a favorite place. 🙁

You really need to get your staff under control. This is the second time I’ve been there after 8pm in the evening, they tell me that they’re “out of food.” I then go on Doordash placing the order for the food they’re “out of,” and it comes to the house with no issue. Pathetic! So much for “Winnersville.”

I just left Popeyes because they forgot my 2 order of fries. Went back they gave me my fries and one free, cool..got home and my 3pc chicken only has 2. I’m not going back. Just check your food before you LEAVE.

Went at 9pm tonight and was not expecting for it to be this good. I ordered a 14pc tender family meal and got all of my food completely fresh. Only waited 15 minutes and staff was very nice. (My rice was uncooked but everything else was good)

Fresh, fast and fabulous!!! Meaty tenders, a full serving of red beans and rice. Most skimp you on a full side. Only downside is $3 for meduim soda . Very nice cashier and manager. I will return
