It had been awhile since I ate at Popeyes. On 1/11/2026 approximately 1:30pm, I went inside & ordered 2 dark meat with mac & cheese meals & a 6pc honey bbq wings to go. The chicken was hot, crispy, juicy, & delicious! The mac & cheese tastes like grandma’s. Yummy! I haven’t had a chance to eat the bbq wings, (too full), but I know they’ll be delicious, too! The girl who fixed my food to go was nice & caring. Both she & the young man at the cash register were friendly & polite. My overall experience was an enjoyable one. Will definitely be returning!

I ate legs today here at our wonder store in Wilson and they were amazing. Hot and fresh out of the fryers. The staff was very pleasant and friendly to me. I paid 32 cents for sauce which was fine because nothing is free anymore. We all need to remember these items are not free the stores so why would we think they are free to us. Be kind to all fast food restaurants workers and remember they are humans too and should be treated with respect as well. Wrest job team Wilson

Sorry to say the grease tasted old and it was as salty as it was hot couldn’t finish it I wasted 8 bucks. So that hurts my feelings and pocketbook. But also the red beans and rice were dry take a look at those beans they look like glue they’re dried up and gummy. Just not a good day for chicken I guess. But the person that took my order was so good and friendly she did a great job in taking my water very upbeat thank you for that that’s probably the only reason why I’m not turning around and taking this stuff back.

As you can see I received 2 wings in my 2 piece leg and thigh meal. If I want two wings I would have ordered two wings. They refuse to answer the phone! Mashed potatoes are clumping. When I looked time said 6:30 it’s now 7:06. My husband ordered a 3 piece dark and received 3 wings!!!! Do not go there!

I spent almost fourty dollars and it was by far the worst food I ever had!!! The biscuits were cold, and all of the chicken was horrible, with no taste, and cold. I’ll not ever eat there again. And they didn’t even offer me a receipt. Calling the home office tomorrow

Waited at counter 10min without being acknowledged. I tried to order, but was told I could not order three wings in a biscuit. I could only order two wings and a biscuit which forced me to get a combo. When I receive my food, the macaroni and cheese cup was half full, Cold and you could tell that it was old.
