I walked in a little confused about using the coupons from the app and the young ladies behind the counter were more than happy to help! Literally received my food in less than 3 mins. They were so helpful and pleasant. Really appreciate the kindness from ppl working downtown in Philly. It’s not easy dealing with the public!!! If I could leave 25 stars I would. Every person behind the counter greeted and acknowledged my presence- even the cooks. Will be back once a week for my cheat day meal!

Popeyes, be for real. Y’all sold me a box of seasoned breading with shrimp as the side dish. One bite in and I’m playing “Where’s Waldo” trying to find the actual seafood. It’s giving catfish nuggets with commitment issues. If I wanted fried air, I’d go chew a crouton.
That said, the staff were friendly and polite—great service at the counter. Just wish the food matched their energy. This ain’t it.

This store always has people standing right in front of the store panhandling. When you get inside, the trash is to the top of the trash cans, tables aren’t the cleanest and the lines are always backed up. The Cashiers are very courteous and prompt so that’s always helpful but for those whose on a timed lunch break it’s a bit disappointing. I had to clean a table myself to sit and eat at it and while I was sitting and eating people are inside just lounging with suitcases reassembling their bags and talking very loudly.

The older foreigner guy with glasses who takes orders is very rude, to every single customer every time I go in. He does not greet the customers or tell the total, he says “Give me” everytime for the total. His attitude is disgusting and he refuses to be polite or use manners. I made it a point to say thank you and he brushed me off and didn’t give me my receipt. Very disturbing behavior.
The lobby is filthy, dirt and trash on the floor and tables, homeless people loitering in the front of the store, teenagers yelling and wrestling. Food is good, unfortunately it’s the only Popeyes downtown so that’s about all it has going for it.
This place used to be much more welcoming under previous management.

A busy place that rarely gives u the food at proper temperature. Sometimes it’s hot, sometimes it’s leaning more on the warm side. Workers don’t crack a small. A true downtown fast food spot. Wouldn’t let me come in to order or wait on my food even though it was absolutely freezing outside. Closed the door in my face. There were like 8 people sitting in the lobby, warm and comfortable choppin it up. I’m not from here and maybe it’s policy, but I really didn’t appreciate that. I ordered from somewhere else.

You would expect a location in the center of the city to be top tier, nope not here especially at night. Idk during the day but at night Workers blasting music they have random people going to the back working for them. Food over fried some times it’s just a crisp and no meat inside not sure what’s going on in this location but it should be looked into… I even get my order made incorrectly

I eat here at least five times a week. Especially since I work a few stores down from this location and it’s always open when I get off work. I’ve never had an issue with my food until the time before this last visit when my red beens and rice smelled sour and tasted spoiled. I spoke the the guy that fixed my food and explained to him what happened. He just looked at me and turned around like I didn’t say anything. No apologies or anything. I didn’t want anything for free which I’m assuming is what he thought. I just wanted to let them know what had happened. Thinking since I’m a regular customer that they would at least want to apologize for the bad experience. I’m just gonna assume that my business isn’t valued.

I was physically assaulted by a stranger while I was quietly eating at this restaurant on May 22 around 6:15 PM. The attack happened from behind, suddenly, in front of several customers and staff members. No one intervened, no one offered help or called the police, even though I was clearly injured on the head (see photo).
The restaurant is equipped with surveillance cameras, yet the attacker was able to walk away without any trouble.
As a foreign visitor, I’m deeply shocked by the complete indifference to such a serious incident.
I truly hope Popeyes will take responsibility and improve the safety of its customers in the future.
