Idk where to begin. I’ve lived near Papa Pete’s since 2019 and in 2019 got quoted $81.00 for 2 large pizzas LOL. So never even put in the order or recommended or tried the place. Then tonight remembering they had an arcade i decided to take my kids for a bit. Now being in the industry I checked their hours which stated they closed at 9:30. We get there at 8:00pm and almost no one there but over staffed with at least 5 crew members. Which financially doesn’t make since so they informed us they were trying to close early which I get, but is bad customer service. So we order the Pete’s Special at like $38.00s. Then we play about 10 mins of games which they dont take coins that we brought we had to buy their card and pay a fee… then once the pizza was done and them knowing we got it to go, they proceeded to intercom my name every 15 seconds. Until I told them we were playing games and leaving in 5 min. Once back to the counter while waiting for the food. My oldest and I were looking at the bell and I was explaining to her how it works and if you cover it there is almost no sound. Then a lady from the back who wouldn’t
show her face yelled at us. Great time. We get home pizza was good but not almost 40 bucks worth. So I rest my case save your money go to Big Al’s or a real arcade. Or order a pizza from a restaurant for under 30 dollars. Never getting my business or recommendation.

Tried to call in an order for 4 pizzas for a total of $160. Was told if I order 4 pizza they won’t make them until I pay in store. Mind you they can’t take payment over the phone. It’s 2025 who doesn’t take payments over the phone or let you order online. So anyway I just ordered 3 pizzas so I wouldn’t have to wait in the restaurant for 30 minutes for my pizza. Than my son decided he was going to order one. So I drove there asked for both of our orders. Paid for both of them. $160. Then the manager proceeds to come out and scold me for putting in two separate orders. Was told there will be restrictions put on both of our accounts that all future orders will have to be paid for before the make the pizzas. That is absolutely ridiculous to be scolded after just giving them $160 for my order. Also ordered the breadsticks. They were store bought breadsticks just like you get from Olive Garden except they had zero flavor. I like the pizza but will never set foot in the place again. Especially after getting scolded like I was a little kid for spending my hard earned money in thier place of business. NEVER AGAIN.

Walking into Papa Pete’s is like going back in time. A lot of chrome accents and pastels create an ‘ol timey feel that brings a wave of nostalgia for when places like this existed and you could share a shake at the counter with your gf/bf and meet your friends in a safe place and waste some time and money at the arcade.
Their only option for one crust simplifies the process of ordering and ensures consistency any business needs to survive these days.
I shared a medium with a friend and it would have fed three of us easily. Add a salad, and it would feed four easily.
Our pie had generous toppings and the sauce had great depth to it. The crust is a perfect balance of crunch and chew with a corn meal dusting that also is reminiscent of the old days.
If you dig pizza, I bet you eat here.

I’m not a complainer unless it’s ridiculous. This service was unacceptable. Long story short, I called in a take out order. They said “Give us 15-20 minutes” I show up 30 minutes later to total confusion. They then tell me “It’s going to be 20 minutes” 40 minutes later my 1 pizza comes out.
Now I was irritated but not irritate until they had the audacity to tell me “We had an oven malfunction” Tell me you forgot. Tell me you lost the ticket but don’t lie to me.
Disappointing

Atmosphiller is chill Play music plays in the background it’s pretty appropriate for all ages. The play area in the back is deceivingly large. I got the premium chicken pizza with artichokes, red onions, and white sauce. I thought it was good I enjoyed it but all my kids hated it. I ordered another version of this pizza but vegetarian for my husband and he loved it.

I took my family there last night an hour before closing and everyone had a great time. The food was great and arrived very quick. All 3 of my kids loved it and that never happens. Then they played in the game room. Everyone left happy and we will be back for sure.

Expensive but fantastic pizza! It’s about a 20-minute wait time, but well worth it. Soft drinks only, no beer. Cool interior. There’s a game room for kids and a party room. If you use a card, they charge $1.70 per swipe, and they charge for takeout boxes. Paper plates are available.

First time here, I had to ring a bell to get someone to come and take our order, but the pizza was very tasty just a little expensive for a small pepperoni and sausage. This place seems to be set up for kids birthday parties.

I will preface this to say that if their pizza wasn’t great, I wouldn’t give this place another try just due to the handful of times visiting here and some of their policies and service are just bad. The first time I came here, we bought many large pizzas for my sister’s bridal shower hosted there. When we were cleaning up to go, there was pizza leftover so I asked for the regular pizza boxes that we would have gotten if we didn’t dine-in and they charged for each box. After spending well over $200 on pizza. They charge almost $2 per ranch. That’s whatever I suppose. The very annoying one is the debit card charge. They charge 3% for every transaction. So that can be an easy extra $5. So they charge for boxes, condiments, processing fee if you don’t keep a lot of cash on hand. But the most annoying policy is their policy to not cook pizza until you get there. We called well in advance to order 4 pizzas for a party, we were told over the phone that they can’t cook them until we get there due to not having been paid yet. That would be reasonable if they take payment over the phone or online but they don’t. It is 2026, this is insane. But they told us not to worry, it will only take 10 minutes to cook all the pizzas once you arrive and pay. I was skeptical but I had no other option because an entire party was waiting on us to bring the food. We went through the drive thru and firstly the guy didn’t give us any of the ranch we paid for and had to go ask someone and “see what we can do”. He framed it as if they were going to try to do us a favor to give us free ranches when I knew based on the total that I had paid at least $6 for 3 ranches. Then he tells us to wait inside or in the parking lot and come check in, in TWENTY FIVE minutes. I explained what we were told and he was like yea sorry I’m not sure why they told you it would only take 10 minutes, we are very busy. Well there was nothing we could do at that point. We went over to another store while we were waiting and I called to make a complaint, hoping they would get the pizzas made faster. I was told the manager was on her break and would call me back later. The manager called me back later and explained that it is their policy to bump the orders to first in line once the customer has come to the store and paid. But apparently none of the employees were aware of this policy. She did offer me a free large pizza for our next visit which was very nice. Although I explained that we live in portland and only come there like once per year but that was all she could do as far as finding a resolution. All in all, the pizza is fantastic. It is very expensive, like $40/pizza but the family size are massive. The extra charges are insane. The policy to not take payment online or over the phone is absolutely nonsense and they need to change that immediately. Nobody orders pizza just to go sit there and wait for it for 30 minutes like we did.

This establishment has become a joke. Insisting people with orders over a certain amount of pizzas come order and pay in person and wait. People who have ordered on their account many times over and never not showed up for their order. And then to have the audacity to reprimand said customer for placing two separate orders to get around their asinine rules. Who belittles a paying customer? Classless and rude. Mighty munch mountain pizza has better pizza and knows how to appreciate the customers who keep them in business. Good luck
