We ordered 12 piece classic chicken tenders, a lemonade, and ketchup from here around 7:00pm last night. I got my lemonade right away (with gross, sticky stuff on the lid) and then waited for the chicken. 15 minutes in to waiting, the guy at the front assured us it would be only 4 or 5 minutes and we continued waiting. A big rush of people came in around minute 30 and all got their food and left while we continued waiting. We talked to another lady who ordered online 30 minutes before we did and was also waiting around for her food. After about 45 minutes and half my lemonade, the guy finally brought out a bag for us. Got it back to the car and looked in to find only the box of 12 pieces of chicken. No ketchup like I asked for, no napkins. Because we waited for 45 minutes for food from a “fast food” place, we thought they might have given us something extra as an apology but we did not even get everything we asked for. I had to go back in and ask for ketchup. A few hours later I ended up with food poisoning. Overall, not a great experience.

Food was cold, error on my order. Not real responsive to their mistake, very few customers there. Couple next to me was complaining as well. They won’t last long at this rate. Back to the other chicken places in town.

I want to share my experience. Amazing customer service and manager. We were having issues with our delivery services one evening. When I called the Manahawkin location to ask if my couple of orders were received. I found out they were not. Their manager went above and beyond to help, and he brought our dinner to our house himself. This was our first experience with any Popeyes, and I can’t express enough how great this location is and the helpful response of their manager. Thank you for making my Friday night easier. So appreciated!!! Highly recommend!

I ordered a 4 piece dinner. My order was off.. The manager came to the window and asked if everything was o.k he listened and gave me a whole new order. His name is Mr.Telly I hope that is correct. His whole demeanor and customer service is amazing… I drove 2 hrs to visit my daughter that went into premature labor while on vacation. As a person that is big on customer service. All I can say sir is thank you!!!! If I am ever down here I will visit this Popeyes. Shout to the young lady that took my order .. so pleasant…once again thank you

I’ve ordered from here twice since opening. I LOVE Popeyes and could not wait for this local opening. I love food and have high standards. Both orders were piping hot and fresh, the only thing that was meh was the chicken tenders and ya know what? I ordered at 9:30 what do I expect? Food was horrible my husband got the 3pc chicken combo and I got the 3pc tender combo. The chicken was horrible and we have eaten here before and it was good but tonight was the worst meals we have ever gotten. The chicken and French fries all tasted stale and where hard. The Mac and cheese was more like soup. On top of the food being bad out order was messed up they changed me for a 5 pc tender meal and I asked for a coke and they gave me Diet Coke. Worst experience with food here and the service was not great either the woman at the window seemed flustered and confused on what was going on. Worst experience tonight with this location Popeyes and it should not have been 35 dollars for 2 combo orders extremely over priced for food we ended up not eating and trashing it.

I have eaten it Popeyes in other locations numerous times and it was consistently good. I ordered butterfly shrimp coleslaw two pieces of chicken and a lemonade. It was over $20. To start with the shrimp, we’re not butterfly shrimp. More than half of them were popcorn shrimp, not what I paid for. The chicken was overdone and very dry again, not what I’m used to from Popeyes. If I had been in the area I would have returned it all. I’m very disappointed. I will never go to this Popeyes again, especially since there’s a KFC and a Chick-fil-A across the street

Went here around 7pm and they were a little busy that I almost didn’t stop but I still had minimum wait time in the drive thru. When I went to get my order from the window the drive thru person was obviously very busy taking orders/transactions/handing out food but he was still very friendly and genuine. I was slightly worried because I placed a complicated order but everything was exactly correct and tasty. Highly recommend this Popeyes. Great location as well.
