Our first visit went very good. The food was delicious. The service was accommodating to our needs. They also took the time to explain the menu as well as giving us tips to help us gain the best possible cultural experience of authentic Italian food. They are still early opening and trying to figure the best menu for the Marion-Grant County area. I look forward to this place becoming a great restaurant in Marion. Enjoy the experience and give the owner feedback. He is very open.

Very disappointing. I only ate a couple of bites of the lasagna. It had grease sitting on top of it and it just was not good. The meal was very expensive for what it was. We never got the salad that was supposed to come with the other 2 meals we got (Paperdelle Monti)

I was there this past Friday night and I’ll start by saying hands down the best service in marion! The young lady she was so sweet and attentive! She seemed to be running everything! She definitely made us feel catered to and made the FINE DINING experience. The service definitely made up for the kitchen mixup and wait for our food!

This is the 2nd time I have been to Pompeii. We had a tremendous dinner both times. I can honestly say this is my favorite restaurant. I have never been to Italy but when I eat here, I feel as if I am transported to Italy. The owners make sure you feel like family!

I ordered a veal dish with a lemon sauce to go! I live 3 blocks away therefore travel time was minimal! I took home a very very dry Jerky like piece of meat with something soggy coating it and a very warm tossed salad. I cannot comment further on the breading or the lack of sauce due to the fact I have never had this dish. I love anything Italian and lemon. I did not detect a drop of lemon! I will give this restaurant a second try ONLY because the beautiful soul that took my order over the phone and greeted me at the door did everything she could to make my brief time at the hostess stand absolutely delightful!

We were asked by two different individuals if we had a reservation when they clearly weren’t busy! We were finally seated & offered a free glass of wine as they were celebrating getting their liquor license. We opted for Diet Pepsi which was served in a bottle, a cup of ice accompanied it. We both ordered the eggplant, it was very greasy & we didn’t really enjoy it! I hope they make it but with the prices they charge & no sides with most of the dishes we weren’t impressed & we wouldn’t be back!
