Food was OK. Overpriced buffet, flat cokes and if you get there after the 30 minute mark before closing…they aren’t making any more food. At least the hotel doesn’t have enough chlorine in the air to knock you over anymore thanks to new carpet.

The blackened catfish is my favorite dish so far. Nationwide is providing us a stay here at the Fun Dome while our home is undergoing repairs. The “Dine On Us” package is amazing. I have had the opportunity to try almost their entire menu. So far, without disappointment. Their bacon could use some improvement, but that’s not enough to take it down a star. After 10 days and nearly 30 meals, I still look forward to the next one! *Edit* I wish I could add a star. Just discovered their menudo! It’s some of the best I’ve had!

Staying here during winter storm Uri. Staff is wonderful! They have been inundated with displaced victims of the electrical outages and frozen pipes the storm has caused and are gracious and accommodating. Pet friendly. We are even able to take our furr baby in the restaurant while we eat. Great experience.

Stayed Saturday night at the FunDome. My kids wanted to have the Sunday brunch before we left. We waited at the podium to be seated like every one else. We were seated and made our drink orders. Naturally my kids ran right to the desert table. Then Maria the waffle maker confronted my kids. I went right over there to let her know we had a table. She asked if we were seated from the podium and I told her yes. This was not good enough for Mrs Maria. She followed me to our table and asked who our waitress was. I gave her our ticket and this still did not satisfy her. She proceeded to track down our waitress. She still didn’t believe we were paying customers. We were eye balled and harassed by Maria during our meal. She gave no one else the treatment she gave us. The rest of the hotel and restaurant staff were a delight during our stay, so kind and helpful. Brenda our waitress was wonderful.

If your looking for good Mexican restaurant, you would be happier at taco bell then here.Server was slow and apparently didn’t pay much attention to the customers. The food was Bland. The beef and chicken both stringy and rubbery. Like frozen diners. And said they didn’t have the “stuff” to make margaritas.???

Food was tasty but very slow – even though the place was near empty. The tacos were on little bitty tortias. The Friday lunch staff, including my server, spoke very little English making it difficult for me to communicate.
