I’ve been a loyal Pollo Tropical customer for years, but my most recent visit left me shocked and deeply disappointed. I ordered my usual meal, only to discover a bug with wings mixed in with my food. I understand that mistakes can happen, but something like this raises serious concerns about the quality control and cleanliness at this location.
What makes it even more upsetting is that I didn’t notice it until after I had already eaten most of my meal. At that point, I was too disturbed to contact the restaurant directly. I’m not looking for an apology or compensation — I simply want the establishment to do better. Customers should never have to worry about something like this.
I won’t be returning, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can be aware. I genuinely hope the staff and management take immediate steps to ensure this never happens again. Please be mindful when ordering and always check your food.

i bought whole chicken with hard earned money. they gave me burned chicken, I ask to be change for a non burned. they took it back and brought me supposed another one not burned. I find out later at home that all they did is flippthe chicken to the other side letting me think they swap it for another chicken. all they did is turn to the other side that was less burned but same chicken that was burn. from bow on i have to check every piece i get. where is customer service that went to hell in USA.

This was my first time trying this restaurant. I didn’t know onions were on the pork, it is not listed on the menu. If you don’t like onions I recommend asking for without or if it comes with. I took mine off. I got the pork and chicken with a Ceasar side salad. All the food was perfect, the cashier was friendly, and it was clean.
I don’t have one complaint about my visit. I look forward to returning and trying something else.

Amazing
First time eating at any Pollo Tropical. I have tasted their food because friends have been and I’ve eaten some of theirs. This time I selected the sauces and such. So I had chicken black beans rice platter. I of course tried all the sauces. I really liked the yellow curry one! My least favorite was the white garlic cilantro after trying them all. The service was good and they took the time to actually go over the sauces in better detail lol. I am a huge fan now as the food was amazing!

My bf and me stop by to get some dinner, when we walk in. They gave us the most dirty look ever, we went 2 hrs before they closed and everything that we wanted to order, they “didn’t have it” and told us we just could take our food to go. We order and stay anyways and each customer who order something. They continuously tell them to go not to eat inside.

Used to come here all the time and today I ordered yuca bites and got overfried oily yuca bites with black specs of what I assumed were bits of burnt pieces on it. Couldn’t eat it due to how oily it was. Please improve

Pollo Tropical’s chicken is always fresh, juicy, and packed with smoky, citrus-marinated flavor that makes it stand out from other fast-casual spots. It’s grilled to perfection and tastes like it came straight off a backyard grill. If anything, I’d love to see a little more crispy char on the skin and maybe a few extra sauce options to mix things up. Overall, though, it’s delicious and definitely worth coming back for!

I have visited this location (1365 St Lucie W Blvd) many times with satisfactory results, however, I did not feel compelled to write a review until today. Why? Not because the food was better than usual (it is always very good here), or because it was cleaner than usual – it’s always kept clean, but because of the service. The young lady that took my order made all the difference in the world. Her name is Isabella.
She had a demeanor and disposition that one does not expect at a fast food place, but a fine restaurant. Professional, yet cordial, cheerful, fast, accurate, efficient, kind and considerate. She even confirmed the senior-discount before I mentioned it and had my water with ice ready before I had had a chance to put my wallet back in my pocket. etc. However, what made her stand out is something that goes beyond the sum of all those qualities and great service: she acted just like a successful business owner does, you give it your best to make sure that the customer is happy. I know, I was a business owner and executive for many years. She made me feel as if she was glad that I had chosen this store, unlike in many other places where they seem upset to have to take your order and resent your presence.
Her positive attitude and bright disposition will open many doors for her in life and she will go very far in all her endeavors. May God bless her, and her parents for having raised such a remarkable young lady. Kudos to Pollo Tropical for having hired her. Again, her name is Isabella …she deserves 10 stars.
