This pollo serves such delicious Rice and beans Every single Saturday ! The rice and beans are always seasoned well and are always cooked best here. It’s such a delight to come to this restaurant and have a great experience. Even cashier did a good job, they treat me very good and quick each and every time.

This is the second or third time my order is wrong at this North Lauderdale Pollo Tropical on the corner of 80th ave. and McNab Rd. I ordered the #2 all the way and I got some lettuce, rice, black beans and chicken. Plus I used the drive thru so I wouldn’t have to get out the car, I was in a hurry on my way to work and was told to drive around to the entrance and someone will bring the order out. It’s approx 1:20 pm. No one bought out my order and I’m waiting, I get out in full uniform to run in to grab my order, speaking to a slender built brown lady I assume was the manager leaning on the counter looking at her cell phone, she asks the drive thru lady who appears to be very pregnant, what is she waiting on, “oh she said, we had to fry the tostones, which was already up just sitting in the fryer basket. They packed my bag and I grab it never checking my Tropi Chop, which was a disappointment when I got to work to see this is not at all what I ordered. I called the number on the website and it sends you to customer service, now I’m realizing these people never gave me a receipt either, I’m explaining to the representative on the phone, she said how did you pay, I said “oh with my card,” she asked the last digits of the card and placed me on a brief hold, came back to the phone some minutes later to say, “the store manager said they looked at the drive through receipts and they found no receipt matching your order between 1:20 – 1:34. Please explain my time stamped credit card transaction at that location today 12/24/25, Cooperate check the cameras. Unbelievable, this place is trash, today is Christmas Eve, I work until midnight, I usually try to make or prepare my lunch for each day, just because of businesses like this that hire anybody off the street and don’t care if your order is correct or not. This is the last time I will patronize with Pollo tropical, I will not spend my hard earned money to be dissatisfied and disappointed with something I didn’t order. I will also inform my neighbors and my North Lauderdale City Hall Committee about this establishment. I will also inform fight this transaction on my credit card since you all can’t find a transaction, I will most definitely dispute the charge of $14.32, it’s the principal of the matter. I would not recommend this particular Pollo Tropical to no one.

I went to the drive thru around 2pm to buy some food I met with Ms. Pierre at the drive thru window she was very professional and made me feel welcome ,she have such a pleasant voice I would recommend anybody to go eat at that location because of the great service I received from her and the food was very good,chicken was well seasoned

I come here after school sometimes , it’s so good to eat after suffering from the school lunch, the beans and rice always a 10/10 , the chicken when it’s fresh is the best. And that bread roll dipped in the beans ARE SO GOOD

I had the most unprofessional experience at this Pollo Tropical. I placed my order at 6:00 PM, and by 6:25 I was told to come inside because my meal—ordered in advance—still wasn’t ready. When I asked about the delay, I was told to “talk to the manager.”
When I asked for the manager, a man walked up but avoided eye contact. I asked if he was the manager, and he said yes—his name was Chris. I explained the issue, and instead of addressing it, he walked away, joked with someone in the back, and never returned.
The entire interaction felt like a skit—completely unprofessional, dismissive, and immature. My order wasn’t complicated, and I can’t understand why the service was so poor.
I won’t be returning to this location and recommend others find somewhere else to eat. This staff clearly needs better training and leadership.

The service was veryyyyyyy bad and they don’t know how to treat people, ok I get it it’s the 4th of July but why is the store is closed at 9:45 and they are supposed to close at 12:00am , they told me nd my sister to walk through the drive through then they took so long and the older Indian looking lady was being rude to my mom . And on top of that my order was still wrong . I ordered a number 5 and I got something totally different Store needs a lot of improvements on customer care .

Who ever is the owner or managing this location needs to drive by to see how early they are closing the restaurant.
Hours of operation says closed at 10pm. Well guess what, they closed at 8 pm. Please see the pictures to see how bright it is outside yet they are telling customers they are closed. It only 8pm.

Good Afternoon, I go to the restaurant location in Mac Nab Rd (north Lauderdale) but I completely onset with the staff at the restaurant in this location. You coming in the restaurant nobody help you in pick up your order or the person orders. The woman in the front the bad face (like no need to working) no took to me nothing, and she very nasty, she rolled my order to me and she said nothing. My first time and my last time in this location. Its really bad people working like that. It doesn’t matter so much anymore if the food is good.
