This was my first time here and from the moment I walked into PoPo’s I loved the place. The inside was decorated cutesy for Valentine’s Day and the service was amazing. We decided to share the Fetucchini Alfredo and a 12 inch pizza and it was perfect for 2 people. The food was SO GOOD!! The pasta was nice and cheesy and the pizza had that delicious brick oven taste, with the perfect crisp. Our servers were kind and friendly, they kept our drinks full, had conversations with us and even brought us a canoli on the house and it was delicious. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Had an absolutely wonderful time here with my husband on Valentine’s Day. I enjoyed the garlic bread, calamari, red wine, and fettuccine with pesto sauce. The marinara that had to dip the calamari in was one of the best marinara sauces I’ve ever had. Our waitress was extremely diligent and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. I loved the valentines decorations as well.

UPDATE….still ah-maze-ing!
Great service. Great pizza. Great pasta. Great bread. Great wines. Great salads. And if you can make it … GREAT DESSERTS!
UPDATE…
This place never disappoints. From the incredible bread. To the beautiful pastas and sauces. The lasagna will please any lasagna lover. Great wine selection. If you can’t make it to dessert then get something to go. The tiramisu and the cheesecake Rock.
We will start by saying Marco was fantastic. Great server. And the food was in-cred-ah-ble! FRESH AMAZING INGREDIENTS. This is what pasta is supposed to taste like! It is nowhere near me and it was worth every ounce of gas it took me to get there! The sauces. The Italian sausage. The Alfredo. Lasagna. And THAT BREAD! It will be such a great adventure working my way through this menu. I had been here a while back but for whatever reason. My last review was no longer here. But just for the record. This is my second time here and my second time being so incredibly satisfied. If I could afford a house in the neighborhood- I would- just so I could walk over here LOL.

Update: They added a lounge area. Really a great option if you’re in the mood for a chill dinner and drinks. One of those local places I like to support. This is my go to with a small group having good options for both Italian dishes and pizza. This is one of those places where both are great.

Stepping into Po Po’s, the kitschy interior definitely caught the eye – it has a fun, quirky charm. The service was good throughout the meal, attentive but not intrusive.
A shared angel hair pasta was absolutely perfect: perfectly al dente with a wonderfully fresh sauce. The salad was a bit rustic but everything was fresh and the vinaigrette simple but tasty, pizza was a bit of a mixed bag; it was tasty but arrived too soggy in the middle making it impossible to pick up a slice. However, it crisped up great at home in the oven, making for excellent leftovers!
Overall, Po Po Trattoria Pizzeria earns a solid 3.75 stars. It’s a charming spot with some definite highlights.

My wife and I stopped in at Po Po for lunch today, and it was incredible from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the place felt warm and homey — that classic Italian comfort vibe where everything smells like fresh herbs, simmering sauces, and real homemade cooking. My wife ordered the chicken soup and a Greek salad, and she couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. The soup tasted like it came straight from an Italian family kitchen — rich, flavorful, and comforting — and the salad was crisp and refreshing. I went with the stuffed meat lovers slice, and let me tell you, it was amazing. Loaded with flavor, perfectly cooked, and genuinely one of the best slices I’ve had in a long time. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Brianna. She was awesome , friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. She made us feel right at home, like we were regulars. Po Po made our lunch date perfect. Amazing Italian food, cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service. I don’t write a lot of reviews but this place deserves it ! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Don’t go for happy hour. I ordered two domestic beers and a house Chardonnay. According to the AI summary Happy hour Mon-Thur 4-7 should have been $5 ea. But my bill was $25+ I asked bartender & supposedly house wine is $9. Very disappointed but that’s on me for trusting AI. Didn’t have time to inquire more as I had to go.
Food did look good but pizza looked like mostly crust with few toppings. The restaurant did look & smell good. They should post some signage to inform patrons of specials or the lack thereof. May go back but probably not since its out of my geographic bubble.

Owned by a real Italian family, this restaurant is one of our faves! They offer an extensive menu beyond pizza as well as a wonderful wine list. Our family eats here at least once a week. My favorite is Lobster Ravioli and Wedding Soup. Last time we dined, they showed us their new cocktail bar attached to the Huebner restaurant called IL SECRETO. Very swanky and offers an amazing list of house drinks.

I will be back! The atmosphere is very comfortable, very cozy. No need to dress up if you don’t want to. Just pointed to a place on my map and decided this was a place to try. My friend and I both tried the trio plate- it was delicious and plenty. I ordered a cappuccino and if I don’t ever come back for the food, I’ll be back for another of those. It was that good folks! We went at lunch time and you can get the lunch portion or you could order the dinner portion if your appetite is feeling fesity (mine definitely was). I could be mistaken, but I’m almost certain I heard the family speaking Italian while placing my order. Adds to that authentic feeling. The staff are attentive and sweet. Try it out. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

I was very pleased with the great tasting Italian food out at Po Po. The restaurant itself is very cozy and the owners are very welcoming. Our server was very attentive and polite. The food was off the charts good. The Caesar’s salad was one of the best I’ve had in years. My lasagna entree was excellent, with perfectly blended marinara sauce and high quality mozzarella cheese. The spaghetti and meatballs were certainly just as tasty. The homemade bread was a major bonus. Highly recommended!
Update: You guys have to try the lunch buffet that includes, several kinds of salad, pizza, and calzones. One of the best high quality Italian pizzeria buffets in the city.
