This place is sooooo delicious! Been here twice and it’s definitely a flavor bomb with everything I’ve gotten. Drinks are pricey but that’s it. Food, Service, Atmosphere are all great! Staff are sooooooo nice and the music is ON POINT! I love me some 90’s R&B!!!

I’m not an expert on Sichuan cuisine but their dishes were quite tasty. Portions are decent and they were meant to be shared. We ordered the Strange Flavor Cauliflower and Eggplant, the Dan Dan Noodles, and the Black Pepper Beef Short Ribs. Everything tasted good but the short ribs were outstanding! Service could have been better (nobody checked in during our meal) but they were quite busy. We look forward to coming back to try their other dishes.

We loved Plenty of Clouds! And don’t let the concise menu fool you – there are plenty of options here, as well. I wish I had taken photos of the actual food (and not just the perfectly-balanced and well-appointed martini I had there!).

A group of 7-8 people got like, 15 items from different parts of the menu (some with meat, some without) and each one was very well made. Excellent balance of spice (a little toned-down, but I was able to add more) and textures layered on very solid flavors.

The real treat for me were the noodles. I don’t know if they’re made fresh in-house or whatnot, but the noodle dishes I tried were excellent. I know we had at least 3 noodles dishes, and they were all good.

From the small plates, I think the cucumbers were my favorite.
From the large plates, I think it’s a toss-up between the pork belly and the “dry fried chicken, too many chilies”.
From the Rice & Noodles, it was the dan dan, 100%.

Great food & portions. The twice cooked pork is flavorful and tender. We got three dishes for two people and had one serving left over. 4 stars because the spiciest noodles as recommended by staff barely had my lips tingling. Even the mapo tofu did not have the spice my husband and I expected.

Was really excited to try this place, but the food was very disappointing. I ordered takeout — the Dry Fried Chicken and the Burning Noodles.

The Burning Noodles were just okay. The Dry Fried Chicken was not spicy at all and completely tasteless — definitely not qualified as Sichuan food.

I’m very curious how this place has a 4.5-star rating here. Also, the portions are small for the price.

*** I transferred the noodles to Tupperware.

Food tastes BAD. Pork was dry, veggies dont have flavor, dan dan noodles have very mild seasoning compared to how it’s supposed to taste. And for all this, it’s priced higher than how much you pay at a typical chinese restaurant AND THEIR FOOD TASTES GOOD. To make it worse the portions are way smaller too. I’m never coming here again, such a waste of money

I’ve been here a few times and always have a wonderful experience. The staff is absolutely lovely, welcoming, and attentive. We walked in for dinner on Monday with a group of 6 and got seated immediately.

The menu is meant to be enjoyed family style and there are lots of great options to choose from. My group loved the dumplings, dan dan noodles, and short rib the best.

There’s decent street parking around here and a paid garage attached to the building if you don’t want to hunt for a spot.

I really want to be excited about this place, but the Sichuan style food here is far below average, the taste profile and texture is completely wrong and the food presentation is so sad.

For what you pay, definitely not worth it.

This place was great! I thoroughly enjoyed this place. Every dish was tasty, good spice level and flavorful. If I had to comment, I would add a touch more salt and also a jar of spicy chili oil on the table would be a nice option. The twice cooked pork was my favorite, the pork fried rice was good but not my favorite, the yibin burning noodles were also pretty good but could use the spicy chili oil and the cucumber dish was one of my favorite versions I’ve had. The service was also great. She was super helpful in choosing dishes and very attentive. Atmosphere wise it was nice and relaxing but I do wish it was a tad bit less smokier. A little more ventilation would be nice but otherwise it was great. I’ll definitely be going back.

It tastes terrible to me as a Chinese person. For Americans who have never experienced authentic Chinese food, they might think this is what Chinese food is like. They’re not adapting the flavors for American tastes; they’re completely losing the spirit of Chinese food. All meat dishes taste terrible!!!
