I ordered on Uber Eats (12/5/25) and got 4 street tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were bland, but I could live with that. What really got me was the rice and beans. The portion was honestly about 75% beans and 25% rice. For what I paid , I could’ve opened a can of refried beans and made better rice at home.
Rice isn’t expensive, and this place is also a grocery store, so there’s no reason to skimp on it. I even checked under the beans thinking there had to be more nope, just beans. There are way better options out there for the same price or less, so I won’t be ordering from here again.

I’m from Mexico and I think this is one of the best Mexican stores/restaurants in the area! They have pan dulce, chiles, herbs, hot sauces, etc. All the essentials. We were in a rush but managed to get an esquite and a torta al pastor and they were so good. We’ll definitely be back!

I got the chorizo burrito and was highly disappointed: they did slice it in and half and grilled both sides, so that was a wonderful surprise. The veggies were nice and fresh. But that’s the end of it being wonderful. The burrito lacked flavor, the chorizo was dry, and tasted bland. The green salsa tasted like something from a grocery store. The experience was disappointing because there were no flavors from what looked like a very authentic spot for Mexican food. Will not return.

I got the carne asada burrito. The meat tasted reheated and not fresh. Very chewy and lacked flavor. There was slimy lettuce and overcooked rice inside as well. Long wait time for being the only one in there. Better off going to moes or chipoltle or driving to Waterbury.

Absolutely terrible food! I ended up throwing out my burrito because the meat was such poor quality and there was so much grizzle it was inedible. The quality of everything else we ordered was disappointing, too. Such a disappointing waste of $$.
I ignored the poor reviews wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt; big mistake. And I’m someone who doesn’t like giving bad reviews and avoids it at all cost… But I can’t in good conscience let someone else endure the same mistake I made.
