Love the food here, but lately the service hasn’t been the best. I had 2 workers who used to know my order and always greeted me, but I haven’t seen them as of recently. Also, ever since I started coming here I have loathed the trash situation. I have always had to bring my trash home due to how disgusting the trash is. Nobody wants to touch that. I don’t know why they can’t have hands-free trashes.

I have had a great experience each time at Playa Bowls. I order ahead online and they leave my bowl in the freezer until I get there so it has not melted. I think the toppings and acai base ratio is also wonderful!

Let me start by saying I order from playa bowls on door dash multiple times a week. They are usually amazing. Today however 7/23 at 8am I ordered the olas bowl and listed I have a coconut allergy l, as I do every time, so to remove coconut flakes and it came covered in coconut and inedible. If I was not paying attention to this I could have died. This is completely unacceptable. I could understand if a simple add or removal was missed. But when allergies are called out there is zero excuse to miss them. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and it’s the first question asked and restaurants have been sued for this. It’s not ok and whoever was on this morning needs immediate retraining.

Full disclosure: I can only speak for the smoothies! I love açaí bowls and smoothies and have been struggling to find the perfect peanut butter banana chocolate smoothie-until now! It is the Dolce smoothie and addicting!! I’ve had several times and been meaning to try other things there but can’t not get this!!perfect combination of the flavors and smooth consistency every time!!

Food = amazing, 5 stars. Best açaí we’ve had in MA, rivals CA and HI. Love that you can make-your-own combo bowls. But, we have not had the best experiences with service lately. We order frequently but the last couple of times the staff were super unfriendly. When we had been waiting for over 40 minutes for our order (bowls and juices) and watched people who ordered after us leave, it was obvious they forgot about our order. When we asked, they seemed annoyed that we questioned where our order was. A muttered sorry once we finally got our order. We signed up for the rewards program and tried to use the 15% off coupon but were told that wasn’t a current offer even though you could see it advertised it on the card swipe system. Disappointed since we love the food here and my kids go at least once a week.

Smoothies and bowls are 10/10. People who work here are so nice and helpful. My only suggestion is def hire more staff! It’s getting so popular especially during the weekdays that the wait times are a lot longer than usual.

Ordered online and when I arrived shortly after my smoothie was ready. Tasted fresh! This location was clean and staff was very friendly. My only suggestion would be to add a 24oz option.
