This is a really great restaurant. The meal and the atmosphere was first rate from start to finish. What it lacks in size, it definitely makes up for quality. We went there on a Sunday for brunch with another couple and the meal was excellent as well as the atmosphere where we were able to talk and enjoy each other‘s company without interruption.We will definitely go back again.

We visited Plane and Level for a birthday dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it! We tried all but one of the tapas. Arguably, the charcuterie board was the best with cheeses, meats, jam and some of the best candied nuts that I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed the octopus and the bread was divine. The atmosphere was ideal with soft music in the background and beautiful artwork. Our waitress was super knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, great way to spend our evening celebrating a birthday!

We recently went for dinner for our anniversary and had the chef’s tasting menu. We’ve been a couple of times before and everything was great, but the menu had now changed to full on Italian. This was a great surprise because I LOVE Italian food, and you can tell this was authentic and fresh, not just your typical tons of pasta and marinara/alfredo sauce. The menu definitely has something for everyone with much more than just pasta. We had many different dishes from the tasting menu and it was all excellent. It is on the pricier side, but well worth the money if you’re looking for a truly fine dining experience. We splurged for the tasting menu, but there is a range of prices on the regular menu that are completely reasonable. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely and worldly. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant was a total surprise find! Great Italian cuisine in a very interesting environment, with both aviation and Italian inspired appointments.
From the start with the Focaccia Bread Service to the Polipo (Octopus) and Polpettine (Prosciutto and Mortadella Meatballs) appetizers, then on to the entrees you know you’re in the perfect spot. The housemade Blue Crab Ravioli and Cotoletta alla Napoletana were also exceptional standouts.
Overall, Plane & Level Coastal is a culinary destination to be visited continually and often!

We finally got out for a date night, and where we spent it was 10 out of 10 incredible! Plane & Level is the new Spanish tapas and wine restaurant in downtown Fairhope, and I can not say enough, but I’ll try.
•The food was delicious and elegantly presented, and the recommendations were superb. Each of the tapas
were a fantastic bite into Spanish cuisine. You could close your eyes and transport yourself to Spain with the flavors and aromas.
•The wine was the best wine I’ve had since I’ve been to Italy and my husband to Spain. Fun fact, the wine is very exclusive to Plane & Level. Most of their wine is not sold anywhere else in the world, and again, the recommendations were spot on.
•The atmosphere was beautiful and warm, and the service was 5 star quality. Each person we spoke to were not only incredibly knowledgeable, but you could also hear their passion for Plane & Level.
We had the absolute best time and will be back and bring more people next time.

This welcoming restaurant with aeronautical theme has an authentic Italian chef with the best canoli ever! Service can be slow paced, but come to relax, enjoy well-made drinks, and delicious food!

Spanish Revival in Downtown Fairhope! You can’t beat the vibe here it transports you out of lower Alabama to perhaps Malaga or Palma. Do not expect southern size portions here as we ate our entire meal and did not feel stuffed but very satisfied. The food was amazing and offered great variety. Service was excellent with no rush to leave and it appears much like in Spain you are buying the table for the night. The entrees were both knock out and the black grouper special was divine. Great for a special occasion or a date night with your significant other.

Ciao Fairhope, Italian pop-up menu did not disappoint! Made reservations well in advance and was greeted and sat prompt and politely. The olive oil with the focaccia and olives was a wonder way to start, fresh ingredients bursting with flavor. The roasted Eggplant was terrific, good texture, right amount of sauce.. perfect “ hot salad “ appetizer.
Fruti Di Mare was excellent, loaded with a variety of seafood and a hearty Pasta blended together with a robust sauce, delicious! The affogato and bamboloni are a superb combination! The shining star of the night was the Tiramisu, rich and light.. the best ending to a wonderful culinary experience! The staff was wonderful, keep up the great work!

Chef Orlando is one of the most talented and passionate chefs I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. His creativity and attention to detail come through in every dish, and you can tell he truly cares about the guest experience. It’s also a nice personal touch that he makes the effort to greet each table—it really sets the tone for the hospitality here.
The service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and every visit feels like a special occasion. As a foodie who’s always on the hunt for the best bites, Plane & Level delivers time and time again. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic evening at Plane and Level. Each dish was outstanding. My favorites were the artichoke hearts, the gnocchi with mushrooms, and the tiramisu. My girlfriend and I were smiling with joy after every bite; each dish was memorable and beautifully prepared.
The staff were attentive and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
