I stopped for a quick bite at the Dairy Queen on South Shary Rd.
After scanning the menu, I chose the crispy tacos. The tacos come three to an order, I added two extra tacos to order. I also wanted a coke zero instead of my usual iced tea. I really liked the fountain drink dispenser Dairy Queen uses, it has lots of selections. For example, I pushed the Cole zero icon and the display pops up more icons with like six different types of Coke Zero flavors. I opted for Cherry with a big splash of Vanilla. My tacos were ready in no time, I barely filled my cup. I asked for salsa for my tacos, ( a must have) I was given a handful of packets. So I immediately noticed how fresh everything looked, and added my salsa. The tacos are good, the salsa really doesn’t kick it up a notch. Overall a good experience and worth going back. Lastly, I noticed how clean the establishment is kept. I even checked out the restrooms for more confirmation and I was impressed. Great job Dairy Queen on Shary.

The Oreo Blizzard was perfect and it passed the upside-down test flawlessly.
Beyond the treat, the service was outstanding. The staff was quick, friendly, and genuinely cheerful. Getting a perfect classic served with a smile makes all the difference. Five stars!

Absolutely the best time I had. It’s been a while since I’ve had 10/10 service but worker named Kaylie was fantastic. She greeted me with a kind smile, got my order correct, and delivered it within 3 minutes. Absolutely perfect.

It’s an okay place. The food isn’t high quality. The fries are too salty and greasy. The blizzards could be better and so could the restrooms. Plus, previously, we waited about 25 minutes for three mini blizzards. It was horrible, but they apologized and gave us three small blizzards instead.

My son had heard crazy stories of his dad eating a 5 meat/ 5cheese burger. They went to this DQ and ordered it to my son’s delight. He enjoyed every bite. Thank you!

This place is good but for a specific market niche. I will compare it to other burguer restaurants, but with a wider desserts menu.

Went by the drive thru today. Asked for two blizzards. After placing my order, I was offered to add extra cookie dough to one of my blizzards. Once we left the drive thru we noticed the cup did not have the extra cookie dough or the regular amount of cookie dough that should be in the cup. I know times are hard but, business should not make it worst for themselves by not paying attention to detail.

Came to order blizzards for the family and they always get it right at this Dairy Queen. We make it over here because they have real halves of pecans not the little fine chopped pieces I can get at other DQs.. No names(mcallen/23rd).. Lol keep up the good work.. Fast drive thru peace
