I came in with a big group of people (7-10). There was no one else there at the time. I found out that the bartender (Pete) was the cook. A few of my friends ordered and I want sure if I wanted anything , so waited to see their orders before ordering mine. A $17.50 burger better be pretty good for the price I would think. After the main food was brought. The bartender asked me why I didn’t order before in a condescending way. I thought about it and decided I would cancel before he even started cooking. He responded by saying ”I’ve got nothing else better to do than make your burger” he then proceeded to cuss and make rude comments while making the food. Burger and fries were actually pretty good. Not a good experience I would not recommend at all.

This converted gas station is one of the best dive bar close to Davis and Woodland. Met the owner Pete and had an hour long conversation about the business and life. He’s a hard worker and does it all, cooking, bartending, & keeping a bar open in today’s economy. He’s authentic and genuine. I’d marry him! ☺️ No hard alcohol but they have an extensive selective of beers and hard seltzers in a can. Had the delicious burger & fries . If you’re kind to animals and humans, you will get that in return ten fold. Good chill vibe. If I’m ever in the area I will make sure I visit again!

We were excited for a great lunch today at past favorite lunch spot.After we ordered, and during our wait, we noticed the owner yelling at customers who were checking on their orders. After waiting for about 40 minutes, we checked on the order and at first was told the order was given to someone else. Then we were told that our (2) burgers were almost ready. No problem. Waited another 25 minutes and then checked on our order again. No one was in the kitchen and nothing was cooking on the grill. We went over to bar and attempted to leave $5.00 for our (2) sodas. The owner asked what the $5.00 was for. We shared that it had been over an hour since we had placed our burger order with him, so we would just pay for our drinks -since our burgers had not been started. The owner fired back with lots of inappropriate language and shared that the (2) sodas were actually $6.00. We left the $6.00 as the owner continued to yell obscenities. Not a good experience and that is a real shame. We had looked forward to a great lunch and in the end – they lost a customer.

Great bar! Pete, the owner, is a riot. His meats and veggies are all locally grown. The burger was amazing! Other pansies rating this place as one star should probably stick to city bars with like minded snowflakes.

A local out of the way gem. Gravel parking lot. They have a patio in the back where they sometimes have live music. I had the Blu cheese burger with bacon, a side of fries and a cold Coors Banquet. I’ll put that burger against any at Burgers and Brew all day! It IS a tasty burger! Chatted a bit about this and that with some of the kind folks at the bar. Pete is a great guy. Very chill. I’ll be back.

A place with a vibe. It has some sort of soul inside. Food doesn’t look to be cheap, but not too expensive either and my burrito size was really good. Also possible to play pool and it was quite (in terms of people inside) during the times I visited it.
