Great little neighborhood barbecue place. Homemade sauces all the grilling and smoking is done on premises. We normally go and sit at the bar. Shayla and all of the bartenders are top notch. The owners are a routine fixture and walk around and talk to the guests. They also have karaoke and trivia nights. All-around great place to just go hang out with a neighborhood feel. If you’re in the mood for some real down home barbecue, you can’t go wrong with PK‘s bar and Grill.

Amazing!! I’m a BBQ critic, and this was by far THE BEST BBQ I’ve had in a looooong long time! The atmosphere was so upbeat and casual too, a great environment to enjoy the delicious food!

Never going back. Flies EVERYWHERE, food was not good, and waitress took forever. Undercooked fries, dry pork, beans and a cookie that tasted like they came from the store. It was overpriced and the server did not tell us that they charged for each sauce. The chef asked us if it was good and we had to pretend we liked it. Definitely do not recommend.

Stopped by their new spot by the Piggly Wiggly. Cocktails $5 and very good. Cheese fries were amazing. Had baked and sweet potato and both were awesome. Finally ordered the 3 meat plate. All perfectly cooked, sauces were fantastic.

Food was really good but the portions were terrible. Way over priced for the amount of food they give you. I don’t mind paying high prices for good food but I expect to get what I pay for. Portions were appetizer size, had to find something else to eat.

I finally made it to the new location and the food as just as good as it was when he was close to JC’s bowling in Lexington. You can not beat the pulled pork and thebrisket. Mac and cheese is still awesome, and the couple drinks I had while waiting on the food were great. This family knows how to cook and they are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I’ll be in earlier next time, so I can chat with you. Keep up the good cooking. I almost forgot, he makes his own sauces, and the sweet and spicy is unbeatable.

I hate to blow up “my” hidden gem, but you should really take the short drive to eat here!! The brisket is smoked perfect and everyone is friendly and the food is RIGHT!! Every #@%$ time. You are missing out if you choose not to add this place to your bucket list! Real food, Really good!! Life is short, don’t miss out!

The worst. Never going back. Disgusting! Get rid of the flies #1. SLOW! Paid good $ for cheap, inedible food. Unprofessional. Yucky bbq sandwich, chicken wings, potato salad & what they call “dessert.” Fail.

I got the 3 sliders( beef, chicken and pork), mac and cheese, baked beans and a sweet tea. All 3 sliders where really good and moist. I didn’t have a favorite although I would have preferred the chicken shredded instead of sliced. If it was just based on the meats I would have given it 5 stars. The sides and the sweet tea were a disappointment. Based on that I would have given 2 or 3 stars but because they were so friendly and helpful a rated them a 4. This is not the 1st place that I only like the meats and not the sides. So I’ll be back just for that.
