Been here a few times, but I must say, this time was the worst and most likely won’t return. Waitress took our order, asked her several times for silverware and napkins that never arrived until we received our food. Coffee and cappuccino taste burnt. The food we ordered wasn’t what was brought to the table, or better yet I should say how we ordered it. When the food arrived, she stated “I put the order in trying to be the most cost effective way possible so you didn’t spend $30 for what you ordered.” While I can appreciate the effort, it made me wonder was it done because we are African American. Because while she was trying to be “cost effective”, the bill was over $120 for what easily would have been about $70 at a diner.

We came here because it was close to the airport, and we’re starving. That being said… The server was excellent. The place was clean and comfortable… Now let’s talk about the food… The coffee was so horridly bitter (undrinkable), the pancakes were dry and tasted like they used chlorinated water. The overall quality of the food (even though we were starving) was less than that of a local diner. The fun part is the price… It’s roughly $35-$40 per person before tip. Yep…5 star prices for 1 star quality. Would not recommend it to anyone! (D-) . If it hadn’t been for our server and atmosphere they would have failed every check box.

I wasn’t expecting a pancake house to look like this!! This place is very cool with a very nice bar. The pancakes were good and the service was fast. The entire restaurant was clean. Needless to say, I was pretty impressed with my first visit. I definitely will be back and recommend going. If you like my posts and pictures, please like and follow me for more reviews.

Took my 11 year old granddaughter for lunch yesterday – she had a milk, 2 eggs scrambled, mash browns, I had 2 eggs, toast and bacon, and we shared a silver dollar chocolate chip pancake order. With tip, IT WAS $74!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had water to drink, Food was fine, ‘diner fare’ and would’ve been no more than $30 at a diner. Our booth had ripped upholstery, we were there from noon till 12:40 and same 3 cars in the lot as when we arrived and left. The food was fine – the prices for it – crazy. Perhaps it is why they were so empty at lunchtime. Won’t be back.

We tried PJ’s Pancake House today for the first time. We were looking for a good local breakfast spot and this place did not disappoint. My wife ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. I ordered an omelette (ham, mushrooms, peppers and cheddar cheese). I asked for a side of French toast and a bagel.

Someone introduced me to this place 4 years ago. I’ve been in love since! The food is always delicious the service sometimes is questionable not because of the people but because of the patrons because there’s usually so many and they get a little slow only because there’s just so many people wanting the good food! A very good problem to have as long as patrons understand where that’s coming from. But as far as courtesy they are extremely nice and patient. Once you go there once you’ll make it a tradition as me and my family do.

The wait staff are always really nice and attentive. The last time my husband and I went there we had the most awesome waitress! She was so sweet and gave great recommendations. The pancakes were great and really soft. My bacon omelet was cooked perfectly and there was ALOT of cheese inside. The Bloody Mary was really good as well. The waitress recommended the chocolate mousse cup and I loved it. I couldn’t finish the whole thing in one sitting though because of how rich it was. When we’ve gone (Friday morning and Sunday afternoon) we didn’t have a wait at all.

Always very crowded on weekends so be prepared to wait a while to be seated and have your food arrive. In terms of the food, I do prefer the Robinsville PJs for their biscuits and potato skins but this place is pretty good too.

Food was okay. Not worth how much you get. I shouldn’t have to pay $18 for an omelet and not get hash browns or toast on the side. Also the PJs Mash was bad. They should rename it to PJ Mush. It’s not worth the extra $7. Just skip this place and go to a diner. You will get more food for less money and it will probably taste better. I might be less bitter about going here too if our waitress was more attentive. I shouldn’t have to wait 45 minutes to place a food order. After giving us water that she never refilled.
