Horrible customer service, rude, mean , unprofessional, and extremely disrespectful employees including the manager. These employees don’t don’t treat customers equally, and respectfully on the top of that they claim that they serve Halal foods, but unfortunately they lie. They are located in Sacramento, CA, and the restaurant is not big not small, but has a decent capacity for dining in, but unfortunately with the ZERO hygiene. You can see roaches crawling around visibly, and the tables , and chairs are sticky , and smelly. But unfortunately it look like it doesn’t bother the employees including the manager. Yes ! The bathrooms are filthy, and no toilet or paper towels to use , so just don’t use them. They do offer different services like dining in, to go , and delivery, but there is a long waiting time which annoying. Also they don’t turn on the cooling system in this hot season, especially in triple digits days while they are cooking inside, so how can you resist that heat when you are waiting for your order or dining in how ? You can place your order over the phone or in person, but make sure to repeat yourself because most of the time they are physically communicating with you, but mentally somewhere else, so you will get the right order you placed. Yes ! They do charge high prices for a low quality/poor quality food , and even not fresh,and on the top of that you will be charged twice , so be careful to check your online banking in order to make sure not to charged twice. They are wheelchair accessible, but the seats are not comfortable for a physically disabled customer which why you need to use your own accommodations if you are dining in. There is a decent parking lot with good amount of spaces including the handicapped, but sometimes you have to look around for a parking space due to lack of parking spots. My experience was bad because I got the wrong not even that they charged me twice thank goodness I got a notification from my financial institution; otherwise, will loose my money. When I called, then unfortunately no apologies were made, and no one offered me a replacement or a refund which is mean. We all are working people, and don’t grow money on trees, so have some morals plus be the people of your own words. Don’t lie. I’m not recommending this location to anyone, and will never return.

We dined in at Pizza Twist Sacramento and had a great experience from start to finish! The staff gave us awesome recommendations, and we were so glad we tried something new.
We ordered the Rice & Tikka Masala with chicken and lamb, the Spicy Masala Burger, and fries — and let me tell you, the burger and fries were the unexpected stars! That Spicy Masala Burger hit all the right notes — packed with flavor, juicy, and satisfying. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned, making them the perfect side.
Everything we tried was delicious, but now we’re already thinking about what to try next time. The menu is full of bold, unique twists on Indian-American comfort food. We’ll definitely be back!

I had the Chicken Tikka burrito bowl and tried the Indian spice fries and it was fantastic. Fresh, and really tasty. They were a little slow but I had lots of time that day. They didn’t have a lot of sit-in patrons but did a booming to-go order business.

Update 12/22/25 … still no refund AND now they are willing to refund cash, but they want me to remove this review BEFORE they do. Denied. I was willing to edit review if they made this good but to require the removal first is wrong. NEVER AGAIN. still disputing charges with credit card company!! Terrible business owner.
Placed an order online on 12/16/25 for 12/17/25, thinking it was a different location. When I realized the order went to this location on Gateway I contacted them as soon as they opened on 12/17/25 to cancel the order. I called 5 times because the person answering didn’t speak English and I wasn’t sure they were understanding my request. I asked a coworker who speaks hindi to help and I thought they FINALLY understood. Well about 45 minutes later I get a text that my order was ready, WHAT??!! I walked into the restaurant to inquire about this, the manager acknowledged they received my multiple calls to cancel over the phone but they still made the order and expected me to pay. Finally after some back and forth, she agreed she would refund my card. I understand the refund can take 24hrs, well it’s been over 24hrs and they have not refunded my card!! This location is TERRIBLE. I definitely will be disputing the charge and NEVER patronize THIS location.

Food is overpriced for the mediocre quality. I was overcharged for a medium pizza even though on the paper menu it’s 17.99+ tax, but an extra $2 charge for chicken was added even though this isn’t stated anywhere on their menu that meat is an extra $. The only thing that states is a $2 extra charge is anything that is plant based. Really a bait and switch since prices aren’t posted and that’s probably on purpose. Do not recommend.

Great Gluten Free crust pizza. Crust was light and topping were tasty. Quantity of toppings could have been better. The pizza was greasy, which is fine for pizza, but a small piece of cardboard under the pizza would prevent sogginess.
Customer service was present, although the treatment was not terribly welcoming, and very curt.
