Slightly Disappointed with the experience: My family and I just moved to the city, like we actually just touch down a few hours ago and wanted to find something good to eat. I called to place an order and asked the lady could I still get the happy hour price since I was only 7 mins past 7:00 pm; she told me yes as a courtesy. I ordered the jerk pizza, meat lovers and the jerk salad. I asked her what’s my total and she said $20 for both pizzas and $15 for the salad. When I arrive the man tells me it’s $30 for the jerk pizza. I explain that when I called the lady told me $20. He called the lady to clear things up and she flat out LIED to her boss and told him that “she explained jerk pizza is not included”. I was on the car speaker with my ENTIRE family listening and they all heard her say $20. My brother even said “wow $20 for each is lit”. We were excited about this and to know the girl lied to her boss really dampened the experience and especially since my entire family heard what she said. With all of this aside I appreciate the man(I assume the owner?) he honored the $20 this one time but I just wished he could screen that call and see his worker lied -not me trying to get discounted pizza. Even after all this happened I will still be returning to get more because this was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, we literally ate it before we could even make it back to the hotel the guy also made the experience better

I had stopped in on a whim with the intent to try this for MONTHS. I will preface this with the transparency that I am a food industry professional with years of experience with Pizza and Italian food. It was fantastic. they offer 2 sizes of pie, which is the ideal service of serious pizza makers. I got 2 of the specialty pies. First was the pepperoni & jalapeno in the larger 24″ size. It was delightful, thin NY style made in a wood fire oven, airy and crisp crust and it was sturdy to carry. You can fold it, you can cut it, just a SOLID pie. The real show was the Jerk chicken pizza tho. Wow. Like, let’s just say that it’s a picked smoked chicken, with a delightfully balanced seasoning blend. A Creamy Jerk sauce, Not too sweet, good balanced heat, and the toppings were balanced across the whole pie.
If you are sleeping on Pizza Stop, its honestly a great alternative to the standard NWI Pie. Don’t wait, SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

Went with a group drove out from Portage/ East Chicago. We went to place called Pizza Stop today and ordered smoked then fried garlic Parmesan wings. My oh my those were the best wings I’ve had in a LONG TIME. The Smokey flavor of the wings was on point and complemented the sauce perfectly. Hand cut French fries that came with them were the best fries I have ever had. Crispy with creamy/fluffy center and some bits that were extra crispy. Followed that up with the Jerkfredo pizza which has such a great flavor. Excellent level of heat from the spices. Marcus gave us awesome service too. He was very kind and welcoming! If you have not tried them yet do yourself a favor and go check them out right off of US-20 in Michigan City, Indiana.

We were pleasantly surprised with this stop! My 14 year old loves pizza and this was closer to our hotel so we decided to give it a try. Pizza was amazing! Wings were amazing! The owners were really friendly, too! Love supporting a small business with passionate owners!
Update: came back during our trip to the dunes this summer and pizza stop was the first place we landed! Pizza was still more than delicious! Hell Boy, three little piggies, and wings were on the order! I cant say I’ve eaten pizza that was better than this ever! I dont love hamburgers but 2 on the menu I actually want to try tomorrow for lunch! I’ll update after!

After reading reviews we had to try it out. One of my favorite pizzas I have ever had. We ordered the hellboy. Every ingredient tasted fresh with an incredible crust. The wings were the best prepared wings I have ever tasted, cooked perfectly with great flavor. Do yourself a favor if you like flavor and try Pizza Stop out.

Stop by on a whim based on great reviews and, boyyy they did not disappoint. The owner, Marcus (super nice guy) took the time to explain the menu. We had the wood fired sausage pizza that was absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients, probably the best sausage I’ve ever had, and they make their own dough. We will be back several times, cause I think we need to try everything on this menu! Go here, you’ll be glad you did.

It’s a great spot to grab a quick bite before heading out, especially with the beach only 12 minutes away, making it perfect for a takeout picnic. While the food and friendly service shine, the dine-in experience is limited—there’s no bathroom on-site and minimal accommodations. Still, if you’re after quality pizza and don’t mind taking it to go, Pizza Stop is a solid choice worth the stop.

Pizza was great. We ordered 4 – Smokey BBQ, meat lovers, a create your own and cheese.
The food was great, the pizza tasted good. It was nicely cooked with a good amount of toppings.

We got the Jerkfredo and the 3 Lil Piggies and BOTH WERE PHENOMENAL! When I called,they sounded busy and she said it was an hour wait, but happily took my order anyway. The food was ready to the minute on time and the pizzas were creative, unique and delicious. Thanks Pizza Stop, we travel to that area a few times a year and will be back every time from here on out! Great job!
