Never expected to be leaving such a negative review but here we are. My neighbors and I down the street were hopeful despite never seeing any cars or people sitting outside the very large tiki hut since it opened 3 years ago but heard the music outside and seen the lights inside. The quaint place itself is cute and inviting and I had just seen some new photos of their dishes and it felt like maybe just maybe it was a real place afterall . Our waitress welcomed us and accommodated our party of 6 at 6pm on a Saturday night .. turns out it was her first day there and she was the sweetest ever. She brought out our drinks in record time, and even exchanged the ice cold Cabernet Sauvignon with the proper room temperature one. Now let’s get to the good stuff… Three different pizzas and two different pasta dishes were ordered… We didn’t mind that it took a while and that all dishes came out separately… (would’ve preferred to eat together but not the end of the world) the pasta dishes were salty and not much flavor… Honestly resembled less than par canned sauce. All pizzas were so wet except for the 1 inch crust around the edge which wasn’t bad… A little too salty but edible. The toppings were tasty and seemed fresh… But we couldn’t stomach the watery crust .. tried to eat it but it was so under done and swimming in juice .. we told our waitress when she came by .. and asked to speak with the chef .. now we are up to another group of 6 in the whole restaurant an hour in. It took nearly a half hour for the chef to come… So we continued to pick at the toppings as we were still hungry. I won’t go into the details of how disappointing the interaction with the chef was, let’s just say she didn’t take responsibility nor was she willing to comp all of our meals (except for one pizza because it was the worst for salt and sopping like the other two) .. you can decide for yourself if this is the type of zaaa you would consume at an Italian restaurant specializing in Pizza .. was hopeful but we aren’t going back .. Chef Natalie .. big mistake .. HUGE!

The pizza was good, no picture.
The salad was good as well.
The Aracani was not to expectation.
The pasta with Bolgenese was unfortunately not good. Way too salty, and the sauce was watered down. I was more hopeful given the homemade nature of the noodles.
As with any restaurant, I will give it a 2nd try.

Stopped in on a Friday night around 745. Plenty of tables available. We opted to sit inside, though they have a beautiful tiki outside where live music was being played. They offer a full bar and a nice wine list. We started with the eggplant Parmigiana for an appetizer. Unfortunately I had to send it back because it was cold. The cheese was barely melted inside. They brought it back and honestly it still wasn’t hot. The flavor was ok. Wouldn’t order it again. I ordered the Pizza Romano and my other half order the fettuccine dish. Both were really good. Pizza had great flavor and crust. Our server was very sweet and helpful. We will be back in the future.

The salad was delicious and a very large portion.
The pizza was amazing. It was zesty, full of flavor and three of us shared it.
Very authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely. If you have a chance, try the Italian Manhattan.
The staff waited on us hand and foot. Elizabeth was super accommodating.

My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant, but we were wondering why there were no customers there but us at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Then we realized why. My husband ordered soda but it was flat, so he didn’t drink it. Then we waited 40 minutes before we got our pizzas (we don’t understand why it took so long when there were no other customers there. It’s not like they were busy). When we got our pizzas, we were disappointed because they were watery and soggy and the crust was still raw. The waitress said it’s watery because of the tomatoes. We’ve had many pizzas with tomatoes before and it’s not watery and falling off of the crust. We were hungry and waited long, so it’s disappointing we couldn’t eat it. I ate a small slice but couldn’t eat anymore. We complained to the waitress and she insisted that’s how they cook their pizza and it’s delicious. I’m sorry, THEY’RE NOT delicious! We asked to talk to the owner because she was right there, but she didn’t want to talk to us. Good thing they didn’t make us pay because there’s no way we’d pay for pizzas we couldn’t eat. It’s a shame because the restaurant is beautiful. But we won’t go back.
