McShane’s story starts in 1997, when the current owners met. Their passion for the restaurant industry soon led them to create the foundation for McShane’s Irish Pub & Whiskey Bar. We bring the fundamental style of a true public house back to Michigan by adding our own modern flair. We combine the pleasure of a refreshing whiskey and sports bar with our warm and traditional Irish atmosphere. Soon they opened the Ypsilanti location and now McShane’s latest endeavor is Bobby McShane’s featuring all of our Irish pub amenities along with Detroit style Deep Dish Pizza.

Great food and service when in person, but what’s the deal with putting me on hold for over 5 minutes when I call for a carry out order? Then when I hang up and try to call again, because I was clearly forgotten, you just let the phone ring and no one picks up? Calls were not answered for over 15 minutes of trying so I gave up and took business elsewhere. I like supporting local restaurants VERY MUCH but you have to want to support your customers, too, and ignoring calls isn’t a good look. I’d rather not use a chain like Applebee’s, but they definitely know how to take my order reliably.

While we loved the Detroit location this one is the bomb. Our server Alex is top notch. Made sure we were well taken care of. The food, well all I can say is get over to the Bellville location and enjoy as we did. Irish egg rolls the bomb corn beef melt the bomb, bacon spinach dip OMG. This is our new go to. What are you waiting for.

Fantastic food, drinks, and service. A great place to watch a game! We’ve had the wings, Rueben egg rolls, Reuben, Perch, and burgers. I would recommend them all. Their tarter sauce has a japelano kick. Fabulous! They also have really good sangria. I’ve had salads and soups here to. I’m never disappointed. Trivia on Wednesday nights . So fun!

These guys can COOK. Every single thing down to the dipping sauce for the pickles was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. I can’t even pick a favorite. My husband tried the Mac n Cheese and said ‘Wow , I didn’t know Mac & Cheese could be that good.’ The brief customer service interaction we had was great. The pricing was fair even with the current state of inflation in the U.S. The portions were perfect. The establishment looked clean. We’ll definitely be frequenting this place.
