I went to the bridal store across the street from this restaurant and they happen to be closed on Wednesdays. I decided to get a quick bite, but not knowing the area well at all stopped here sad and I sat at the bar. What a great idea this place was an unbelievable. The food is great with huge portions. Ordered a pick two my enchiladas were weird but wish I could have tried the beans but they decided to take it upon themselves so decide I didn’t need beans. Sopapillas were trash. Husband’s ACP didn’t have enough cheese. The pico queso was alright. Won’t be back.

I’m giving this place 3 stars only because the service was amazing. Outside of that, there’s nothing special about this place. The chips and salsa tasted like they were fried in old oil and the salsa doesn’t have a lot of flavor. My dinner ,a bowl, was swimming in so much cheese it was inedible. Flavor was just okay, nothing special. Honestly, this place isn’t as good as the place it replaced. I do wish them the best tho.

Looks nice in and out. Convenient location. Service was quick. Staff was pretty nice. The cheese dip is good but the salsa is not as it was a bit bland and not chunky enough and the chips were just average and had very little salt. I like the Coke products. They forgot the guac and diced tomato on my entree and the steak was a little chewy since it had some fat. I also ordered double beans and no rice but they did not give me a double portion of beans.

A longtime local speaking here. El Salsa’s has exceptional food and service. We were immediately greeted in a friendly manner and seated. Waiting for our food did not take long and when it was served, the food was fantastic. Great portions and fantastic flavor. If you are in Wendell and enjoy Mexican food, take it from a local and go to El Salsa’s.

This restaurant has been building a lot of hype and I’m happy to say they have delivered. From the warm greeting at the host stand to the friendly service, you can tell they care. The food wasn’t only good it was excellent. The steak was tender, chicken juicy, and maybe most impressive were the shrimp. This is a benchmark I use for all Mexican restaurants and they passed with flying colors. One of the owners (Andres) made sure to check and make sure everything was perfect which is a nice touch.
I am stoked to have such a great addition to the town of Wendell. These guys are worth supporting.
